Harrah’s Resort is turning back the clock to the 90’s on Friday, May 26th with a performance by Dru Hill, one of the most successful R&B groups to come out of that stylish decade. Known for their amazing dance moves and even better music, Dru Hill has been performing since the early 90’s, (and some of their members have even been together since middle school!), and they have a number of hits that you probably didn’t even know you loved!

Check out these fun facts about Dru Hill that you may have not even known, then head over to Ticketmaster, or use the Ticketmaster app to get your tickets now!

1. They were featured in Will Smith’s “Wild Wild West”

The Fresh Prince made a huge splash in 1999 with his chart-topping hit “Wild Wild West”, but did you know that the song (and the music video) featured Dru Hill? They even performed the song live with him at the MTV Video Movie Awards!

2. Founding Member Sisqó had a few big hits of his own

There is no doubt that you’ve danced to “The Thong Song” at some point in your life. Sisqo made a name for himself in 2000 when he released that insanely catchy tune about “that thong th-thong thong thong!” He also topped the charts later that year with his hit “Incomplete”.

3. They kicked off the Soul Train Awards Last year

…And they totally crushed it! Even though the awards show had performances from some more current artists, Twitter blew up with reactions claiming that Dru Hill were the stars of the night, and with moves like that, how could they not be?!

4. They topped the charts on multiple occasions

Their hits “In My Bed”, “Never Make A Promise”, and “How Deep Is Your Love” all reached the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100, and were all number one hits on the R&B charts. They also had five more top ten singles on the R&B charts that you can really groove to!

5. They’re coming to Harrah’s Resort for Memorial Day Weekend!

Okay, so you may have already known this one, but if you don’t have your tickets yet, what could you possibly be waiting for?! There could not be a better way to kick off your Memorial Day weekend than by partying on a Friday night with one of the most soulful R&B groups in the business!

Dru Hill already know how to bring the party and how to set the mood, and there is no better place to have the ultimate Memorial Day weekend bash than at Harrah’s Resort!  Click here to get your tickets now!
