If you’re a fan of country music, then you’ve definitely heard of Granger Smith. The country star from Texas who made a splash on the charts with his hits “Backroad Song” and “If The Boot Fits” is coming to the Wild Wild West at Bally’s Atlantic City to help them celebrate their first birthday with one wild party! In preparation of the birthday bash, here are five things that you may not have known about Granger Smith.

1. He Has an Alter Ego named “Earl Dibbles Jr.”

Earl Dibbles Jr. is a good old country boy who likes hunting, fishing, shooting guns, and cracking cold ones. He’s a little more causal and straightforward than Granger, and you can usually catch him wearing a mud-stained tank top, and overalls with just one of the buttons done. Plus, he has over twice as many followers than Granger himself on social media!

2. “Yee Yee”

According to Earl Dibbles Jr. (and therefore, Granger Smith) “Yee Yee” is a word that can mean whatever you want it to mean! Yee Yee is more than just a saying, it’s a way of life, and it certainly seems like it means a lot to him as you can find it on almost all of his official merchandise including t-shirts, hats, guitars, and even energy drinks

3. He Has His Own Energy Drink

“Yee Yee Energy,” named for his signature catchphrase, comes in a camouflage can with a gun on it, and  the drink claims to be “100% Country.” Smith’s official store is the place to go to grab an autographed four-pack of cans for yourself.

4. He Has been making music since the 90’s

The 37 year-old country star may be new to the limelight, but he’s not new to the music industry. Granger Smith’s first album came out in 1998 when he was just 19. At that young age, he moved to Nashville and signed a songwriting contract with EMI, but it wasn’t until 2015 that he actually had a song of his own on the billboard charts.

5. He’s Performing in the Wild Wild West!

We had to save the best for last, and I definitely already told you this one, but Granger Smith will be bringing his awesome country sound to Atlantic City on Friday, March 17th in honor of the first birthday of the Wild Wild West! What could be better than rocking out to “If The Boot Fits” while grabbing a beer at Boardwalk Saloon? That sounds like the perfect way to spend St. Paddy’s Day!

Now that you’re totally acquainted with both Granger Smith and Earl Dibbles Jr., it’s time to throw on your cowboy boots, grab a can of Yee Yee Energy, and head out to the Wild Wild West at Bally’s Atlantic City to celebrate their first birthday in the wildest hoedown that AC has to offer! Afterwards, you can keep the party going in a beautiful room at Bally’s, click here to book now!
