There’s a good chance that you’ve seen Arsenio Hall somewhere on TV. From stand up comedian to late night legend to winner of Celebrity Apprentice, Arsenio Hall has been a television staple for over 30 years. 1. He made late night history

Arsenio Hall was the first African-American to host a late night talk show, and he absolutely crushed it. Not only was he a trailblazer in that regard, but he was the first to heavily feature rap and R&B artists before they were in the mainstream, and he became a pop culture staple as well thanks to his hilarious personality and the signature woofing chant and fist pump of his fans, the “Dog Pound”.

2. He’s a man of many hats

While he began his career as a stand up comedian, he quickly moved to roles in television and on the silver screen. Arsenio could be seen in the mid-80’s co-hosting a show with Alan Thicke, co-starring with Eddie Murphy in the hit film “Coming To America,” as well as doing voice-over on a popular cartoon, speaking of which…

3. Did you know Arsenio was a cartoon character?!

Remember “The Real Ghostbusters,” the popular Saturday morning cartoon in the late 80’s? Well did you know that Arsenio Hall was the voice of Ghostbuster Winston Zeddmore? That’s right! He was palling around with Slimer the wacky green ghost and the rest of the Ghostbusters crew!

4. The Arsenio Hall Show returned… Nearly 20 years later!

After The Arsenio Hall Show went off the air in 1994, Arsenio took a step back from the spotlight to spend time with his family. However, in 2013, he picked up right where he left off when he brought his hilarious comedy and insightful interviews back to televisions around the world.

5. He’s coming to Harrah’s Resort!

I definitely gave this one away in the intro, but it’s true! Arsenio Hall is coming to Harrah’s Resort on September 23, and he’ll be bringing the laughs! This is your chance to see a comedy legend as he returns to his stand-up roots. And as Arsenio puts it, if you haven’t seen him do stand up, you haven’t really seen him.

After three decades of success in a prolific career as a comedian, movie star, talk show host, and cartoon Ghostbuster, Arsenio Hall is bringing his comedic flair to Harrah’s AC! You’re not going to want to miss this, so click here to get your tickets right now!
