This post is specifically for all the Backstreet Boys fans out there. We decided to give it to you today because your PCD (post concert depression for those of you not in the know) is probably hitting real hard now. It has been 5 days since the boys left us in Atlantic City after all. And we thought maybe this would cure it a bit, at least for five minutes or so.

Obviously, the Backstreet Boys played a sold out show here at House Of Blues Atlantic City at Showboat on Sunday (and was one of the HOB’s top shows of 2012) and left us feeling totally giddy and high on life. The concert started with a rocked out version of “Incomplete” that we totally enjoyed, and then the foursome (Kevin will resume the group shortly…in fact he is probably back as we type) broke into “Larger Than Life” complete with the original choreography. We love. And we were lucky enough to shoot these songs from the pit so we could get some cherished photos for you. Check them.

The guys seriously performed an incredible show though, and did all the hits including “As Long As You Love Me”, “Quit Playing Games With My Heart”, “Drowning” and “I Want It That Way”…which every audience member sang at the top of his/her (mostly her) lungs. It was a beautiful thing. They even bumped booties onstage at “Club Backstreet” with some fans during “If I Knew Then” from their current release This Is Us. And of course closed with a poppin’ rendition of “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)”….because…they really are. The guys are going to celebrate their 20th anniversary as a group in 2013, can you believe it? Twenty years of pure joy.

After the show, we got to go backstage and be a part of this interview with AJ and Howie.

And then we led them to the Foundation Room at Showboat Atlantic City where the fans were anxiously awaiting them. Place was packed!

The guys chilled a bit before greeting their fans.

And then were ready to party the night away, Backstreet style!

Howie even (somehow) threw himself out amongst the crowd and took some pics with some of you. They don’t call him Sweet D for nothing! Okay, so maybe no one has called him that in 15 years or so, but we’re bringing it back today.

Anyway, it was a great, long night at House of Blues and the Foundation Room at Showboat Atlantic City. We hope all in attendance had fun, we know we did! And we are hopeful for a Round 2 in 2013!
