Speaking of Scott Hartnell, we tracked him down to answer a few questions for us about Saturday’s game and more! Check it, below! (Side note: We kinda love that he loves the use of exclamation points).

Scott Hartnell

TAC: What are you most looking forward to about being such an integral part of Operation Hat Trick at Boardwalk Hall on Saturday?

Scott Hartnell: Looking forward to getting on the ice again with some teammates past and present, and other guys around the league. But most importantly, raising money for the people that were affected by Hurricane Sandy.

TAC: Give us a pitch about why the New Jersey team will be the winners of Operation Hat Trick.

Scott Hartnell: I think we will win because we will have the support of the fans behind us!!!!!!

TAC: Oooh. Them are fightin’ words! How many HartnellDowns do you predict will happen in Saturday’s game?

Scott Hartnell: Can’t guarantee the exact number of HartnellDowns there will be, but I can guarantee a few, that’s for sure!!!

TAC: YAY! Can’t wait! We’ll keep count. Finish the sentence: My best move on the ice that never fails to fire up the crowd is…

Scott Hartnell: …To have a big hit and then score a goal!!!

TAC: We are hoping for at least one of these too, Hartsy, k? What do you miss most about being on the ice around this time of year?

Scott Hartnell: Miss playing in front of the best fans in league. Also miss being around the boys everyday.

TAC: Aw. Well, looks like you’ve been travelling a lot lately from your tweets! How have you been keeping busy during the lockout?

Scott Hartnell: Spending time seeing my friends and family. Keeping in shape as well.

TAC: You’re no stranger to Atlantic City and the Jersey Shore. What is your favorite thing to do while you’re in town?

Scott Hartnell: The jersey shore has so many great things to offer in the summer: the beach, the water, great restaurants and everybody is always in a great mood!!!!

It’s true! And that great mood will continue on Saturday for the Operation Hat Trick charity hockey game at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City to help those affected by Hurricane Sandy.
