Fallen heroes’ mothers are recognized as “Honorary Miss Americas” at the 2018 Miss America pageant; VIP itinerary includes day spa, VIP seating at Miss America Finals, visits with celebrities

Sarasota, FL—The Got Your Back Network www.GotYourBackNetwork,  (a national foundation) is honored to be able to once again plan, organize and help sponsor the Ninth Annual Project Gratitude (PG) event which brings twelve Gold Star mothers of fallen heroes from across our country to the Miss America pageant in Atlantic City, NJ. Initiatives such as Project Gratitude show how communities across the nation can step up to work together and support the families of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

The highlight of their VIP visit will be during the September 10th pre-show of the Miss America Pageant when each Gold Star Mother will be inducted as the newest Honorary Miss America.  To recognize each family, former Miss Americas will assist in presenting each of these women with an official Honorary Miss America cuff, donated by Bill Israel and the staff from The Best Crown.  They will also be joined on stage by special guests from the Pentagon.
