Get your sombrero ready because it’s time for the biggest fiesta of the year! Cinco de Mayo is always one big party, and it’s the perfect time to try to eat as many tacos as you can with a margarita in one hand and a Corona in the other.

Speaking of which, Veracruz at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City is throwing the biggest party by the bay, and since Cinco de Mayo is just a week away, I thought I’d let you know about some of these awesome things that they have going on.

Not one, but two happy hours

Could you even have Cinco de Mayo without the legendary Veracruz happy hour?! Plus, since it’s such a special day, they’re adding a second happy hour! Enjoy $5 margaritas (frozen and traditional), $5 red and white sangria, and $3 Corona and Dos Equis from 4pm to 6pm, then again from 10pm to 12am! I’m ready to get as many of those $5 frozen margaritas as I can!

The Patron girls are giving away Free Stuff

On Cinco de Mayo, is there anyone else you’d rather party with than the Patron Girls? Not only are they going to be helping bring the party, but they will also be giving away lots of free stuff, and literally everyone loves free stuff.

Balloon Art!

Whether you want something a little more complex, or just one of the balloon art classics like a hat, dog, or sword, an amazing balloon artist will be at Veracruz from 7pm to 10pm! Balloon art is the perfect souvenir to remember the crazy night you had at Veracruz on Cinco de Mayo!

It’s basically Cinco de Mayo at Veracruz every day, so that means that when it actually is May 5th, they really kick it up a notch! Plus, Cinco de Mayo falls on a Friday this year, which means that you can stay and keep partying on Seis y Siete de Mayo as well. (That’s the 6th and 7th of May for non-Spanish speakers). Click here to book a room at Harrah’s Resort for more Cinco de Mayo shenanigans!
