Finally, summertime is right around the corner. The weather is warm, days are long and vacations are planned. Every year summer seems to come and go in a flash, leaving behind so many activities that now must wait until the next year. We hate when that happens, so we decided to outline the top 10 must-dos this summertime in Atlantic City. Whether you’re down for the day, a weekend or longer, make sure you make these activities at Caesars, Harrah’s and Bally’s a priority – many of them will only be available until labor day!

1.      Enjoy a Rum Bucket at Bally’s Beach Bar

Warm weather means it’s officially rum bucket season! Why order a boring plastic cup and have to continuously go back to the bar for a refill? Bally’s Beach Bar serves up entire buckets of a delicious tropical rum cocktail. Perfect for instagraming, sharing with friends, and sipping in the sun! Plus, you get to keep the bucket as a souvenir!

2.      Lounge at the Caesars Rooftop Pool

The Caesars Rooftop pool officially opens for the season on Memorial Day Weekend, and it has been dearly missed. A relaxing atmosphere, a fully stocked bar, and the best view in the city of the beautiful beach and Atlantic ocean, it’s got everything you could need for spending an entire summer day poolside.

3.      Have a Boozy Cupcake from Boardwalk Cupcakes

There’s nothing better than a cupcake – except maybe one that’s alcohol infused! That’s right, Boardwalk Cupcakes not only offers delicious cupcakes, you can also order a variety of boozy cupcakes as well! Flavors like Henny Upside Down Cake with Hennessy and Cinnamon Toast Crunch with Fireball Whiskey are absolute must-haves this summer on the AC Boardwalk.

4.      Ride the Bull at Wild Wild West

It’s not summer without a few Wild nights. You can unleash your inner cowboy or cowgirl this summer at Wild Wild West with a mechanical bull ride. It’s sure to be a good time, and definitely something everyone should experience at least once. How long can you stay on?

5.      Relax with a Spa day at Qua

Summer should be a time for relaxation, but this season often brings lots of tension along with its higher temperatures. Busier social lives, kids out of school, and of course, the stress that comes with planning a vacation can add up and cause summer to become straining. Make sure you make time to relax this summer by treating yourself to a trip to Qua Spa – a luxurious retreat that taps into the natural, healing powers of water (perfect for summertime!). It’s bathed in natural light, accented by smooth stone flooring and dark woods, and provides the ideal tranquil environment to soothe away summer tension.

6.      Learn a new skill at Viking Cooking School

The Viking Cooking School may be the most enjoyable school on earth – especially for those who love food. Summer is the perfect time to pick up a new skill, and Viking makes it easy (and fun!) to learn how to prepare delicious meals. The variety of classes offer different themes, and the summer menus are absolutely divine, so if you’ve been thinking about attending a class, now is the perfect time!

7.      Experience Sunday Brunch at Nero’s

Don’t get us wrong, Sunday brunch at Nero’s is always a good idea. All 4 seasons. Rain or shine. It’s a bucket list item in general, BUT it’s especially spectacular in the summertime. The restaurant offers breathtaking views of the ocean that are extra special this season. Plus, Nero’s serves the most decadent Sunday brunch in the city – it is absolutely essential to make time for it this summer (and winter…and spring.. and fall!)

8.      Party at The Pool After Dark

What’s summer without a good party? Chances are, you didn’t come to Atlantic City for the beach alone. People come to AC in the summer for a variety of reasons, but if you came for a good time, you have to check out AC’s hottest pool party at The Pool After Dark. There’s a lot of hype about this being THE night club to visit, and we promise it lives up to expectations. Celebrity guests, drink specials, incredible Dj’s, and a pool?! What’s not to love. Definitely the place to celebrate the season.

9.      Grab a Dollar Dog at Gold Tooth Gerties

Nothing says summer like the taste of a good old fashioned hot dog. And Gold Tooth Gerties walk up window sells classic hot dogs for just one dollar. The perfect snack if you’re wandering the boardwalk on a hot summer day after the beach. There’s also beautiful outdoor seating to enjoy the weather. And did we mention DOLLAR HOT DOGS!?

10. Treat yourself to a Meal at Gordon Ramsay Steak

Summer is a busy time, and sometimes you need to slow down and just enjoy. Make some time for luxury dinning, and you’ll definitely thank yourself. And if you’re going to treat yourself, it should be with the best. Explore Michelin Star chef Gordon Ramsay’s upscale steakhouse at Harrah’s Resort – you won’t be disappointed. The menu features prime beef aged for a minimum of 40 days for juicy steaks that melt in your mouth.

Summer only comes once a year. So, whether you’re by sippin’ on a rum bucket, enjoying a dollar hot dog, or lounging at the rooftop pool, be sure to make the most of this season at Caesars, Harrah’s and Bally’s Atlantic City.
