The time has come, Soul Patrol! Taylor Hicks has answered your questions! And he was amused…BOY…was he amused. The anticipation swarming around Taylor’s upcoming gigs at Blue Martini and Bally’s Bikini Beach Bar at Bally’s Atlantic City is totally exciting and is making it seem that these will be Atlantic City shows for the ages!

Check out YOUR interview, below.

Taylor Hicks

TAC: Our question (We only asked one, we promise):  What can fans expect from your shows at Bally’s Bikini Beach Bar and Blue Martini?

Taylor Hicks: I’m going to bring my Vegas show to Atlantic City which I’m really excited about. I think that the people that really can’t get to my Las Vegas show will now get to see some of the songs that I perform in Vegas.

TAC: From LuLu: How do you keep a new show fresh every night?

Taylor Hicks: You don’t want to get bogged down with the same material. Whether it’s the music, whether it’s songs, it’s always good to keep things fresh.

TAC: Lots of questions asking about the scoop on your new CD! How close are you to releasing it? Any duets or guests? Did you do any writing on it?

Taylor Hicks: I’m in the writing phase of the album. I hope to have guests and I hope that it gets released really soon. I want to make sure that it’s the best music that I can put out.

TAC: Mary wants to know if there will be a tour in conjunction with the new CD?

Taylor Hicks: Possibly, yes!

TAC: Sassy 111 is wondering what is the most flattering thing that a fan has ever done for you?

Taylor Hicks: Sassy 111. Wow. What was the question? I got lost in Sassy 111.

TAC: What’s the most flattering thing a fan has ever done for you?

Taylor Hicks: Brought me a really great bottle of wine! I was brought so much food the first three or four months, it was like a cake walk at my shows. And now, for four or five years, the fans have been  bringing wine. It’s great. As soon as I quit this crazy business, I’m gonna drink every bit of it! I’ll never have to go wine shopping again!

TAC: Sweet! Now some questions your fans want to know that you probably would never answer in any other interview…because we can…From Peg: Who’s your favorite superhero?

Taylor Hicks: Whatever pair of tighty whities I wear every night is my favorite! Whatever underwear that I pick out. No, I’ll say Flash Gordon.

TAC: From Pattibelle: Have you ever had a bromance before? If so, who was your best pal?

Taylor Hicks: No bromances at the moment, no.

TAC: Well, you never know when one could pop up, Taylor! A lot of your fans also want to know what is next for you after your residency at Paris Las Vegas ends in November?

Taylor Hicks: Obviously the record and I’m looking at some TV scripts and some movie scripts.

TAC: And from Travelbug484: Would you ever consider doing a residency in Atlantic City like you are doing in Vegas?

Taylor Hicks: Of course I would!

We like that answer, what about you, east coast Taylor fans? A Taylor Hicks Atlantic City residency is a great Atlantic City concert option! For now, be sure to check out Taylor’s upcoming Atlantic City shows on July 18th to July 20th and July 25th to July 27th at Blue Martini at 10 p.m. and July 18, 18, 26 and 27 at 1 p.m. at Bally’s Bikini Beach Bar at Bally’s.
