Take the adrenaline rush of fantasy football to the next level with USFantasy, a new skill-based fantasy wagering platform. Bet on fantasy professional football games at the Las Vegas Race & Sports Books at The LINQ Hotel & Casino, Flamingo Las VegasParis Las VegasBally’s Las VegasCaesars PalaceHarrah’s Las VegasPlanet Hollywood Resort & Casino and Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.

The new offering combines traditional sports betting with Daily Fantasy Sports contests, allowing participants to accumulate points based on their players’ performances in live games. The wagering opportunity then becomes a bit like horse racing because you bet on the individual players to Win, Place or Show. No, the Cowboys, Colts and Broncos don’t have a strategic advantage due to equine-related names.

Here are the betting basics:

Win – You win if your selected athlete(s) finishes first in their fantasy contest field. (Chances of winning are average.)

Place – You win if your selected athlete(s) finishes first or second in their fantasy contest field. Place pricing is most typically less than Win but you have two chances to win. (Chances of winning are good.)

Show – You win if your selected athlete(s) finishes first, second or third. Paybacks are typically lower, but your selection just needs to finish in the top three. (Chances of winning are very good.)

There are also multi-athlete selection contests, which are more difficult to win than the single field contest selections. You need to pick at least two athletes to finish in a particular order. However, the potential contest returns are significantly greater. All contests require a minimum $1 entry fee.

Daily Double – To win, you must pick the winners of two preselected, separate contest fields of athletes (Example: The Quarterback contest winner and the Running Back contest winner)

Pick Three – To win, you must pick the winners of three preselected separate contest fields of athletes.

Exacta – To cash in this contest you must pick the first and second place athletes to finish in that exact order in a single contest.

Trifecta – To win you must pick the first three finishers in the exact order in a single contest field of athletes.

Superfecta – The winners must pick the first four athletes in exact order of finish in a single contest field with twelve or more athletes.

Now that you know how to play, we’re guessing you will want to know how to WIN! The scoring is pretty easy: Quarterbacks, Running Backs and Wide Receivers/Tight Ends get one point for each positive passing, rushing or receiving yard. Touchdowns earn 30 bonus points and two-point conversions give you two bonus points each. All fantasy sports wagers are placed in a pari-mutuel pool and distributed after all player performances are complete and tabulated. Final payout odds can fluctuate until the contest is closed at the start of the first real time game. Wagering is done on a pari-mutuel basis, so wagers on players who are bet on heavily won’t pay as well as wagers on ones with less action. Consider that dark horse; it could pay big dividends.

If you want to win the big bucks, USFantasy also offers the weekly Million $ Seven pro football contest, which pays a cool $1 million jackpot to the winner. To earn this jackpot, you’ve got to select the top fantasy point earner for all seven individual weekly contests. If there is no winner, more than 20 percent of the amount wagered in the contest is paid out in consolation prizes.

Look forward to fantasy betting opportunities in additional professional sports down the line. USFantasy plans to offer wagering opportunities for baseball, basketball, hockey, golf and NASCAR. Visit the Race & Sports Books at the properties listed above to obtain more information and place your bets.
