In honor of 10/10/10 (Oct. 10, 2010), at Caesars Palace, 10 men simultaneously dropped to one knee to propose, at 10:10 a.m.

When you hear the words "sanctity of marriage," doesn't Las Vegas always spring to mind? Ahem.

Flamingo entertainer Donny Osmond hosted the event at the Trevi Fountain replica outside The Forum Shops.

To participate in the event, couples submitted essays about how they met and why they felt they should be selected for the 10/10/10 event.

The winning stories included a romance rekindled after 40 years, high school sweethearts facing financial hardship and a veteran who found his true love after returning from Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Bonus Osmond factoid: Donny Osmond has been married 30 years to his wife, Debbie.

The winning couples were surprised further when it was announced Funjet Vacations would provide the couples free airfare, and a seven-night, all-inclusive stay at an Iberostar Grand Resort, including a complimentary wedding ceremony.

Just another day in Vegas!
