It’s Friday the 13th and you’re in Las Vegas. Will you hide under the covers watching horror flicks or brush aside superstition and hit the tables? Superstitions are part of the Vegas experience for many visitors but we say use this notorious day to find your new lucky spot.

When it comes to Vegas superstitions, gamblers often lead the way. Whether it’s being loyal to their favorite number slot machine, sporting the same jacket or carrying a good luck charm, Las Vegas casino players stick to their lucky traditions.

Triskaidekaphobia, or fear of the number 13, may even strike non-superstitious folks on Friday the 13th. Relax; many Vegas casinos don’t even have a 13th floor. Some also avoid a 4th floor, believed to be unlucky in Chinese culture. This Friday the 13th, turn the tables on superstition and make it your lucky day with these tips.

Caesars Palace: 5 Lucky Spots in Las Vegas

5 lucky spots in Caesars Palace.

At Caesars Palace, lucky spots in Las Vegas are around every corner. Be sure to charge your phone because not only are these locations believed to bring luck, but they make awesome photo opps.

  • Enter Caesars Palace casino and you’ll be poised for a pic with Caesar himself. Rub the finger of the Caesar Augustus statue for good luck as you make your way inside to your favorite table or machine.
  • Another frequently Instagramed location is the statue of David in the Appian Way Shops. Some may snap a shot of another part of his anatomy but luck seekers should touch the statue’s toe.
  • If fingers and toes aren’t your thing, swing by Cleopatra’s Barge to rub the bosom of the lounge’s namesake for an extra bit of luck.
  • Fighters touch gloves before a fight to show respect but if you touch gloves with the Joe Louis statue near the Caesars Palace Race and Sports Book, The Brown Bomber may spread some luck to you.
  • Take a step outside the casino to visit The Brahma Shrine, a replica of one of the most popular Buddhist Shrines in Thailand, believed to bring good fortune.

O’Sheas

Test your luck at Beer Pong at O'Sheas Casino

Those who say beer pong is solely a game of skill probably just downed a few beers on the losing end of a match. Head to the Irish-themed O’Sheas at The LINQ Promenade to test your beer pong “skills” and get a little luck on your side with the four leaf clover-heavy decor. Make your way from the beer pong tables to the gaming tables also inside the venue to ride your lucky streak.

The Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino

The spa at the Rio All-Suite Las Vegas Hotel and Casino is one of lucky spots in Las Vegas

Good luck finding time for yourself on a regular basis! While in town, take the opportunity to enjoy a little “me time” while indulging in some peace and quiet at your Las Vegas hotel’s spa. Ignore superstition and instead share the luck this Friday the 13th with a BOGO deal at the Rio Salon & Spa. Purchase one spa service and receive another for $13. Bring a friend or give yourself double the pampering. You can unwind with a Signature Massage then add on a Platinum Power Facial, or any combination that makes you feel lucky.
