There’s something new cooking in Vegas: Diehard Meat Loaf fans can catch the rock legend’s upcoming tour, “RockTellz & CockTails Presents Meat Loaf” at Planet Hollywood beginning Sept. 26.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, Aug. 2 at 10 a.m. Buy your tickets at the Planet Hollywood box office or call (702) 785-5395. Prices start at $69. Total Rewards members receive a 20% discount Aug. 2 – 4.

Meat Loaf performs every Thursday, Saturday and Tuesday from Sept. 26 – Nov. 5. All shows begin at 7:30 p.m.

Whether you followed him since the ‘70s or jumped on the Meat Loaf train after his 1993 monster hit, “I Would Do Anything for Love (But I Won’t Do That),” now’s your chance to see the Grammy Award-winning artist, closer than you’ve imagined.

Planet Hollywood’s PH Showroom offers an intimate setting, so you won’t have to worry about nosebleed seats. In addition to singing his powerhouse rock ballads, Meat Loaf will share his 47-year music, stage and film career.

“I’m excited to offer my fans such a personal experience, one that lets them share in [my] crazy journey,” he said.

He’ll perform “I Would Do Anything for Love (But I Won’t Do That),” as well as “Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad” and “Paradise by the Dashboard Light” from his 1977 classic, “Bat Out Of Hell” album.

There might even be a Q&A session. If there is, you can finally ask him: “You would do anything for love, but you won’t do that – what’s that?”

And for a mere $750, the Meat Loaf exclusive meet-and-greet package includes a signed red scarf and souvenir photo.

I live for a crazy Vegas adventure, but not in ways you may think. Sure, our nightlife scene is all fun and dandy, but I love hitting up all the city's vegan spots, having staycations and catching shows by my favorite musical acts. Since I've ditched rainy Seattle 20+ years ago, I graduated from UNLV and covered Las Vegas hotel and entertainment articles for, the LA Times, Frommer's and our very own Total Vegas Blog. When I'm not writing, you'll find me hanging with my two girls, along with our shih-tzu and tiger cat.
