St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner (Mar. 17), so it’s a great time to reminisce about one of our favorite charactes on the Strip, Lucky the O’Sheas leprechaun. Last year, Lucky was given the key to the city by Mayor Oscar Goodman. Take a look at this video that chronicles his adventures that day.

When it comes to casino mascots, the others just come up short.

The O’Sheas page on Facebook has all the details about events and specials for St. Patrick’s Day. Go now.

O’Sheas will host a four-day long block party celebration, kicked off by “Peepshow” star Holly Madison. She and Lucky will go head-to-head in a beer pong match sure to be a battle for the ages.

Beer pong is to O'Sheas as sequins are to showgirls. Or something.

The block party at O’Sheas will feature the requisite drink specials, live entertainment, a hotdog-eating contest and all-day water balloon games, beer pong and more. Free swag will be flowing as voluminously as the green beer, with T-shirts, drinks and show tickets being given out throughout the course of the festivities.

What would St. Patrick’s Day be without drink specials galore? They’ll include $.99 frozen Baileys, $3 Irish Car Bombs, $3 Miller/Coors green beer, $3 Miller/Coors draft, $4 Guinness draft, and tons more.

Don’t miss the St. Patrick’s Day shenanigans at O’Sheas, in the center of all the action on the Las Vegas Strip.
