Crown Theater, inside Rio Vegas, has announced it will unveil a sexy, circus-themed show, “Red Light,” over the Labor Day weekend.
(Update as of Sep. 6, the opening has been postponed. We’ll keep you updated!)
The fast-paced show will include acts like Swingshift Sideshow, recently featured on “America’s Got Talent,” fire-eating Bambu from “Scare Tactics,” and a contortionist, The Boxman, seen on “The Jay Leno Show” and in the feature film, “Minority Report.”
Check out the weirdness (and encounters with sharp objects) to come in this clip from “America’s Got Talent.”
Hey, we’d know those curly drill bits anywhere! It appears at least one member of Swingshift Sideshow previously performed in “Freaks” at O’Sheas. “Unforgettable” doesn’t really do him justice.
Added bonus: Members of the cast will hold a meet-and-greet following each show. (Tip: Bring hand sanitizer.)
Bonus added bonus: Guests attending the show will get free admission to Crown Nightclub (with a show ticket stub).
The show will appear nightly, Sunday through Thursday, starting Sep. 5. Tickets are $69 and $99 (the $99 tickets include an open bar wristband). Doors open at 7:00 p.m., the show’s at 8:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the official Crown Theater site or by calling the Rio at (888) 746-7784. Note that guests must be 21 or older. Hey, we said it was sexy.
Sadly, this show never got off the ground. (See what we did there?) Sorry for the false alarm. We’ll provide further updates about this show if it ever becomes a reality.
