Root for your team at the interactive TAG Sports Bar at The LINQ.

Are you ready for some football?

Football season is already upon us and you’ll have a blast rooting for your team in Vegas. With many exciting venues to choose from, you won’t miss a play. (Side note: If you’re a football widow, here are plenty of things to do on the Strip! Shopping and spa-ing is a great time to escape and focus solely on you.)

Celebrate football in Vegas at these hot spots, get your drink (and eat!) on  and book your room today.

The Playing Field

Head to The Playing Field at Planet Hollywood, where watching your favorite transforms into a relaxing, lounge-like experience.

  • Vibe:  The Playing Field isn’t like your standard betting area. While most sports books feel like a classroom, this sleek Las Vegas bar is a lot more chill. It features 33 flat-screen screens, two jumbo screens and a VIP area.
  • Bottoms up: The fully-stocked bar specializes in draft beer yard longs.

The Playing Field Lounge is located across from Earl of Sandwich, near the Miracle Mile’s entrance and Zappos Theater.

Gordon Ramsay Burger

Gordon Ramsay Burger

  • Vibe: Gordon Ramsay Burger oozes with energy. With a fire display and keg wall, you feel it the moment you approach the restaurant. Come hungry and sink your teeth into one of many signature burgers while watching the game on the overhead flat-screen TVs.
  • Bottoms up: Enjoy all your favorite brewskis, or choose from a diverse list of fruity cocktails from an interactive iPad menu.
  • Eats: Cornflake-breaded chicken sliders, hand-cut French fries and sticky toffee pudding push-pops.

  • Vibe: Located inside Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile ShopsPBR Grill’s sprawling, 16,800-square-foot venue offers beer, (mechanical) bull rides and a whole lot more. Every Monday, Saturday and Sunday watch your favorite team one of 105 HD flat-screens and four projector screens.
  • Bottoms up: Enjoy an all-day open bar exclusively on Saturdays and Sundays ($100 per person).
  • Eats: Enjoy American comfort food and BBQ 24/7.  A popular choice is the Smokin’ Jalapeño Cheeseburger, a 100 percent chuck burger patty topped with pepper-jack cheese, jalapeños and PBR’s signature hot sauce on a brioche bun. Or, munch on the Smoked Brisket Grinder:  House-smoked brisket stacked with roasted red peppers, cheddar cheese, crispy onions, mayonnaise and barbecue sauce on a hoagie roll.

The LINQ Promenade, the open-air shopping, dining and entertainment district, offers football fans an array of options to catch the game.

Watch your favorite game while playing a game of your own at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas.

  • Vibe: Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas is more than a hot concert venue: You can also eat here, all while enjoying a  game of bowling and rooting for your team.
  • Bottoms up/ Eats: Every Monday and Thursday, celebrate with Brooklyn Bowl’s Footbowl Package: $75 per person (minimum of four people) includes two lanes, all-you-can-eat wings, pulled pork sliders, hummus and all-you-can-drink Coors Light (prices valid for the duration of one game, based on availability).

gordon ramsay pub & Grill

GR Pub

Get the complete pub experience while sampling an array of beer and popular English dishes.

  • Vibe: We may be far from England, but Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill captures the feel of an authentic pub, combined with the energy of Vegas. The 290-seat pub has flat-screen TVs in every corner. You won’t miss a single play.

About The Author

I live for a crazy Vegas adventure, but not in ways you may think. Sure, our nightlife scene is all fun and dandy, but I love hitting up all the city's vegan spots, having staycations and catching shows by my favorite musical acts. Since I've ditched rainy Seattle 20+ years ago, I graduated from UNLV and covered Las Vegas hotel and entertainment articles for, the LA Times, Frommer's and our very own Total Vegas Blog. When I'm not writing, you'll find me hanging with my two girls, along with our shih-tzu and tiger cat.
