Las Vegas is known as the Entertainment Capital of the World and it will definitely live up to its name in the coming year.

Tons of new Vegas headliner shows and Las Vegas concerts have been announced recently and there’s something for every music taste from country to hair bands and a bunch of fun ’80s favorites like Madonna, Journey and Paula Abdul.

There are so many great acts coming to town, it will be hard to choose, but pick your favorites and get ready to enjoy these new shows in Vegas.

The Colosseum at Caesars Palace

The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is unveiling a new look with a grand reopening featuring two shows from country superstar Keith Urban Sept. 6 and 7, 2019.

The Colosseum is undergoing renovations to update technical and design elements. There will be a new state-of-the-art sound system, new moving light fixtures and a high-definition LED video wall. The Colosseum will also now be able to facilitate multiple seating arrangements, including VIP banquettes with bottle service and a general admission setup on the main floor.

Urban, the reigning CMA and ACM Entertainer of the Year, will bring his acclaimed “GRAFFITI U WORLD TOUR” to Las Vegas for the first time.

Fans can expect to hear all of his chart-topping songs like “Blue Ain’t Your Color,” “Somebody Like You,” “Days Go By,” “Long Hot Summer” and “Stupid Boy.”

General ticket prices begin at $59, plus tax and fees. The shows are scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.

Everyone will be singing “Don’t Stop Believin’” at the top of their lungs when Journey takes over The Colosseum for a limited engagement Oct. 9 – 26, 2019. The band also recently added New Year’s Eve shows Dec. 27, 28, 30 and 31.

Journey is one of the most popular rock bands of all time with countless iconic hit songs like “Lights,” “Faithfully,” “Any Way You Want It,” “Wheel in The Sky,” “Separate Ways” and “Who’s Crying Now.”

The group formed in 1973 and has since earned 19 Top 40 singles and 25 gold and platinum albums with nearly 100 million albums sold globally. Their “Greatest Hits” album is certified 15 times-platinum.

General ticket prices begin at $69, plus applicable tax and fees. All shows begin at 8 p.m.

Sin City will become “Paradise City” when Guns N’ Roses bring the Not In This Lifetime Tour to The Colosseum this fall. The beloved ’80s hair band will play back-to-back nights at Caesars Palace Nov. 1 and 2, 2019 – their most intimate venue since their 2017 performance at The Apollo Theater.

The band’s 1987 debut, “Appetite for Destruction,” was the best-selling U.S. debut ever, selling 30 million copies globally. In 1991, the seven-time platinum “Use Your Illusion I” and “Use Your Illusion II” occupied the top two spots of the Billboard Top 200 upon release.

Axl, Slash and Duff will have fans singing along to all of their favorites like “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” “November Rain,” “Welcome to the Jungle,” “Paradise City” and “Patience.”

The shows are scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $149.

Madonna fans will have the opportunity to see the best-selling female solo touring artist of all time in special, intimate shows at The Colosseum Nov. 7, 9 and 10, 2019 at 8:30 p.m.

The Madame X Tour celebrates Madonna’s latest album, a collection of 15 new songs that celebrate her career-long affair with Latin music and culture as well as other global influences. Fans will hear the critically-acclaimed hit, “Medellín,” as well as songs like “I Rise” and “Crave.”

Tickets for the performances are priced between $60 – $760 (plus applicable service fees). Every ticket purchased includes a physical copy of “Madame X.”

Legendary GRAMMY Award-winner Van Morrison will play a five-night run of shows at The Colosseum Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, 5, 7 and 8, 2020.

Van Morrison was working as a traveling musician playing guitar and saxophone in several bands by the age of 13. In 1964, he formed the group Them, which recorded the hits “Gloria” and “Here Comes the Night.”

A few years later, he released the massively popular “Brown Eyed Girl” and began his career as a successful solo musician. He has since released over 35 albums with hit singles like “Moondance,” “Have I Told You Lately” and “Days Like This.”

General ticket prices beginning at $64.50, plus applicable tax and fees. The shows are scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.

Seventeen-time GRAMMY Award winning musician Sting will headline a Las Vegas residency, “My Songs,” set to open at The Colosseum May 22, 2020.

The show will feature all of Sting’s hit songs with visual references to some of his most iconic videos and inspirations.

Sting, known for his work with The Police as well as his successful solo career, has enjoyed countless hit songs including “Fields of Gold,” “Desert Rose,” If You Love Somebody Set Them Free,” “Brand New Day,” “Fortress Around Your Heart,” “Every Breath You Take,” “Roxanne,” “Message in a Bottle” and “Don’t Stand So Close to Me.”

General ticket prices begin at $59, and a limited number of VIP meet & greet packages are also available for each show. All shows begin at 8 p.m.

Get ready to rock! British rock icons Def Leppard will be headlining a residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino beginning Aug. 14, 2019.

“Def Leppard Hits Vegas: The Sin City Residency” will kick off at Zappos Theater for 12 performances in August and September.

Def Leppard has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide and are members of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

The band’s career includes numerous hit singles and ground-breaking multi-platinum albums—including two of the best-selling albums of all time, “Pyromania” and “Hysteria.” Fans will enjoy classic hits such as “Rock of Ages,” “Love Bites,” “Armageddon It,” “Pour Some Sugar on Me” and “Foolin.”

Show dates are Aug. 14, 16, 17, 20, 23, 24, 29, 31 and Sept. 1, 4, 6 and 7, 2019.

Popular country band Florida Georgia Line will return to the Vegas Strip with their limited residency, FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE LIVE FROM LAS VEGAS inside Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on Nov. 6, 8, 9 and 12, 2019.

The show will feature songs that span the band’s No. 1 hits, including their 11 times platinum breakout “Cruise,” “Meant to Be” with Bebe Rexha, “H.O.L.Y.,” “May We All” (feat. Tim McGraw) and “God, Your Mama, And Me” (feat. Backstreet Boys).

Fans can also expect to hear hits from the band’s fourth studio album, “Can’t Say I Ain’t Country,” including “Simple” and “Talk You Out of It.”

A country music trailblazer and the top-selling female country artist of all-time, Shania Twain, is returning to the Las Vegas Strip with Shania Twain “Let’s Go!” The Vegas Residency, opening at Zappos Theater on Dec. 6, 2019.

The new Las Vegas show will feature hits from her 30-year career, taking fans on a journey of nostalgia and blowing them away with visual spectacles.

Expect to hear all your favorites like “You’re Still The One,” “That Don’t Impress Me Much,” “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!,” and “Any Man of Mine.”

The 23 performances are:

Straight up, you’ll want to see Paul Abdul’s new show, “Paula Abdul: Forever Your Girl” at Flamingo Las Vegas beginning Aug. 13, 2019.

The singer, dancer, choreographer and pop legend will highlight her career through songs, dance and stories about her 30-year career.

She will sing and dance her way through her biggest hits and even reveal some behind the scenes fun during her time with “American Idol.

Abdul is the first female to ever receive four No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 singles off a debut album. One of those singles, “Straight Up,” is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.

In Abdul’s 30-plus year career, she has earned six No. 1 songs, eight Top 10 and 15 hits on the Billboard Hot 100.  Fans will hear all their favorites like “Opposites Attract,” “Cold Hearted,” Rush, Rush,” “Forever Your Girl” and “The Way That You Love Me.”

Stay tuned. Caesars Entertainment’s team led by Michael Gruber and Jason Gastwirth, along with lead producers Carl Stubner and Prem Akkaraju, are developing “Sharp Dressed Man,” a rock musical featuring ZZ Top hits. The show is expected to open in 2020 in Las Vegas and will include ZZ Top members, Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard, as executive producers.

“Sharp Dressed Man” is a bawdy musical romp about an auto mechanic who becomes a modern-day Robin Hood, stealing hearts — and car parts — with the help of his merry band of beer drinkers and hell raisers. Featuring ZZ Top’s most beloved songs including “Legs,” “La Grange,” “Gimme All Your Lovin’” and “Cheap Sunglasses,” “Sharp Dressed Man” is a rock musical with a wicked sense of humor and a heart as big as Texas.
