To date, Pitbull sold 5 million albums and 60 million singles worldwide. He has No. 1 hits in more than 15 countries and performed sold-out shows in North and South America, Europe and the Far East. No wonder he’s dubbed as Mr. Worldwide.

His show is a few months from now, but it’s never too early to get you hyped up for it. That’s why we’re going to share our top five Pitbull party music videos. Fun fact: Did you know his videos have more than 7 billion views? That’s like saying every single person in this world watched at least one Pitbull video. Turn your sound up and get your jam on:

Time of Our Lives (featuring Ne-Yo)

Why we love this video: Pitbull and Ne-Yo’s house party shows us how it’s done, baby.

Who could ever forget those beloved backyard, clear-everything-in-the-living-room house parties? These gatherings always came in handy when we either a) weren’t 21 yet or b) didn’t want to deal with the hassle of long lines and cover charges. And honestly, if you don’t want to adhere to a strict dress code or get snubbed by the bartenders, house parties are always a great go-to anyway. This video takes us back to New Year’s Eve 1999 and proves all you need to welcome a new century are Solo cups, a fun vibe and good music. If you’re going to see Pitbull in Vegas, we suggest kicking off your night with this music video or with your own pre-funk party inspired by this video.

I know you want me (Calle Ocho)

Why we love this video: Between the fun costumes, minimalist backdrop and text across the screen, the video is like a magazine ad that burst into life.

OK, so this is the track you should be playing multiple times before (and after!) Pitbull’s Vegas show. “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)” is one of his earliest hit singles and will forever be a club banger. The second you hear this track, we better see you shaking your hips on the dance floor. Rumbaaa…

3. Fun (featuring Chris Brown)

Why we love this video: For absolutely everything. If this doesn’t hype you up for a vacation, we don’t know what will.

If you had to choose one Pitbull video to watch for the rest of your life, this would be it. This video is the epitome of fun, hence the name of the track. We love the video’s ultra-bright hues, the “Miami Vice” vibe, Chris Brown and Pitbull’s dancing, the party on the speedboat and neon lights of the nightclub. Plus, the funky house beat gets even the shyest dancers on their toes. And if you weren’t really a Pitbull fan before, “Fun” will get your there.

Greenlight (Featuring Flo Rida and LunchMoney Lewis)

Why we love this video: Fast, fancy cars and fashionable checkered uniforms — really, what’s not to love?

Gimme the green light, cuz I’m ready to go!

Just like the aforementioned house party music video, Pitbull proves you can get your dance on anywhere. If you do play this in your car, make sure to drive responsibly — not 80 miles per hour. Or, you can blast this in your car while driving down the Las Vegas Strip on the way to / from Planet Hollywood before / after the show. You get extra points for donning a checkered outfit.

Back in Time

Why we love this video: Pitbull shows “Men in Black” how to party

Ooh, you groovy baby…

Now that we all had the time of our lives with all these music videos, we’re going to end this list by taking you back. First, we have to give a shout out to Mr. 305 for sampling Mickey and Sylvia’s “Love Is Strange.” The guitar riffs immediately give us a nostalgic feel. We also loved how the family watched the Pitbull party from their black and white television. For all you EDM fans, stick to the end of this video and you’ll get your little dubstep fix.

Pitbull has dozens of hits, and of course it was a challenge to narrow our favorites down to five. That’s why the best way to experience his music is in person. If you’re hyped up by four-minute music videos, imagine the intensity of a full-length concert.

Let’s keep the party going in the meantime — share with us your favorite Pitbull songs and videos. And don’t forget to mark your calendar to snag your Pitbull concert ticket in Vegas. You know what? We’re just going to start calling him Mr. 702. Dale!

About The Author

I live for a crazy Vegas adventure, but not in ways you may think. Sure, our nightlife scene is all fun and dandy, but I love hitting up all the city's vegan spots, having staycations and catching shows by my favorite musical acts. Since I've ditched rainy Seattle 20+ years ago, I graduated from UNLV and covered Las Vegas hotel and entertainment articles for, the LA Times, Frommer's and our very own Total Vegas Blog. When I'm not writing, you'll find me hanging with my two girls, along with our shih-tzu and tiger cat.
