Sad to see it go, but Al Dente retaurant at Bally’s has closed. The good news? The new Steakhouse Bar opens in the space on Aug. 11.

Al Dente restaurant

Bonus factoid: "Al Dente" is Italian for "We're currently considering all reasonable offers for this sign."

The Steakhouse Bar will serve up a tempting appetizer-only menu, which we violated security policies to “appropriate” so we could share some highlights with you, our loyal readers.

A few goodies to look forward to: Seared Scallop Duet ($8), Lobster Mac and Cheese ($12), Three Oysters ($9), Jumbo Lump Crab Cake Quartet ($16), Kobe Beef Brochettes ($15) and Trio of Cocktail Shrimp ($12). The menu is rounded out with Assorted Antipasto ($10), Heirloom Tomato Panzanella ($9) and a Sashimi Plate ($16).

Rest assured there will be ample drink specials. It’s Vegas, baby!

The hours for this new hang-out spot will be 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily, with food offerings from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Bally's Las Vegas

Bally's factoid: Bally's is located "within the unincorporated locale of Paradise, Nevada." Yeah, we don't get that either.

Drop in and see what’s new at Bally’s Las Vegas.
