The weather is absolutely perfect for tennis in Sin City at the moment. “But where,” you ask, “can I find tennis courts in Las Vegas?” We love when you ask great questions, because 43% of the time, we actually have answers.

Not long ago, we were wandering around the pool area at Bally’s Las Vegas and heard some “ker-poink” sounds nearby, so we went to investigate. Past a charming little golf shop, over a little bridge, and “ker-poink,” tennis courts. Who knew?

We were greeted by the very studly Tennis Director David Pate of David Pate Tennis, in the throes of giving a private lesson.

We're sure David's student didn't mind us interrupting their private lesson. Ahem.

We found out there are also tennis courts at Flamingo Las Vegas. Is there anything Las Vegas doesn’t do?

There are eight lighted “hard” courts at Bally’s, and hotel guests get a discount on court fees at both Bally’s and Flamingo. Lessons and ball machines are available, of course.

The first rule of tennis. Always, always protect your...well, you know.
