CEO Mark Frissora said the company plans to spend on average about $50,000 on each room upgrade.

In Las Vegas, Caesars recently completed $100 million renovations of the Palace Tower at Caesars Palace (See our other blog post for the jaw-dropping pics) and Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. We are currently renovating 950 rooms at the Carnaval Tower North at Harrah’s Las Vegas, and 1,270 rooms at the Flamingo Las Vegas.

By the end of the year, we will have renovated nearly 12,000 rooms in Las Vegas, or 50 percent of our entire portfolio, since 2014, with plans to complete nearly 90 percent in the coming years.

Now, with a simplified company structure and a strong financial position we are excited to pursue other growth opportunities too, according to CEO Mark Frissora:

  • “We’re building a 300,000-square-foot convention facility on the Las Vegas strip to accommodate more mid-size business meetings, behind The LINQ and near the Flamingo and Harrah’s,
  • We’re exploring opportunities to develop other large, commercial scale properties we own adjacent to the Las Vegas Strip to create exciting new destinations for Las Vegas visitors and locals.
  • We’re investing in new technology to delight our guests with more convenient features throughout their stays with us, such as check-in kiosks, mobile concierge services and mobile pay options, and
  • We’re investing more in training our employees to provide the best, most helpful service in the industry.”

With this announcement, Caesars Entertainment is now ready to invest in the continued growth of our company while providing the most innovative experiences for our guests and rewarding careers for our colleagues, says CEO Mark Frissora.
