Yesterday was a big day in the world of Monopoly, as the winner of the Monopoly World Championships was crowned at Caesars Palace.

Bjorn's statue weighed more than an actual boardwalk. Just saying.

Bjorn Halvard Knappskog, a 19-year-old student from Oslo, Norway became the youngest Monopoly World Champion, and he won the title in he fastest final game in Monopoly World Championships history.

We're thinking this giant check isn't going to get through customs all that easily when Bjorn heads back to Norway.

Knappskog won a prize of $20,580, the equivalent of the “bank” in a standard Monopoly game.

The most coveted prize in the world of competitive Monopoly. Other than, you know, girlfriends.

Here’s a bit of insider scoop (just because we ask weird questions, and they sometimes turn out to be interesting, at least to us). What was the game token Knappskog was using during his championship game? The iron! Do we get the scoop, or what?

This seeminly innocent iron flattened the competition!

“This was the best game in the tournament for me,” said Knappskog. “This is my first professional tournament and it was fun just to be here. I was really happy to be here whether I won or lost, but I’m also very happy to have won.”

This special edition game comes from the Franklin Mint. Harleys and Monopoly? We're in board game heaven.

On a related note, this special edition game on display at the event comes from the Franklin Mint. Harleys and Monopoly? Together? We're in board game heaven.

Our unofficial opinion of this Knappskog guy? We love him. Why? Because just moments after he became the Monopoly World Champion, he was on his cell phone. With his mom. In Norway. Just one of the reasons he won over the crowd at Caesars Palace.

It's as if Monopoly has a, oh, monopoly on the world of board games.

Congratulations, Bjorn, and to all the great folks at Hasbro that made the event such a success.

Nice guy. Big check. And he's got game. You're the man, Bjorn.
