This blog loves it some Vegas newness.

The original Old Homestead Steakhouse is one of the most historic restaurants in New York City, and was established in 1868.

What’d we just say? Please pay attention.

The restaurant’s signature cow statue, Annabelle, recently made a cross-country trek and is now on display over the entrance to the Old Homestead Steakhouse location at Caesars Palace here on the Strip.

If we’d been forced to guess, we’d have said Annabelle is a male, but we’d have been steering you wrong. See what we did there?

Old Homestead Steakhouse features 250 seats with a full dining room, private dining room, lounge and bar.

Several signature dishes have also made the journey from New York City, including a “colossal crab cake,” the 32-ounce Gotham rib-eye steak and the Old Homestead New York-style cheesecake.

Bonus: Inspired by the New York location’s award-winning wine list, more than 15,000 bottles are housed on-site at Old Homestead at Caesars. You’d better get started.

Let us know what you think of this tempting new restaurant offering at Caesars Palace.
