Las Vegas Pet-Friendly Hotels

This blog is a huge fan of dogs, so we couldn’t resist showing up for the first official check-in by a pup at Caesars Palace the other day. Say “hello” to Collin the Wonderdog! (We just made up the “Wonderdog” part.)

There are eight Caesars Entertainment’s Las Vegas hotels that are a part of the PetStay program:

  • Caesars Palace
  • Paris Las Vegas
  • Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino
  • Harrah’s Las Vegas
  • Flamingo Las Vegas
  • Ballys Las Vegas
  • Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino
  • The Cromwell
  • The LINQ Hotel & Casino

Collin, you had us at “woof.”

Collin and his humans, Jay and Tracee Richards from Michigan, were the first folks to stay at Caesars Palace as part of the resort’s newly-launched PetStay program.

VIP Treatment at our Pet-Friendly Las Vegas Hotels

Pet-friendly amenities prove Caesars Palace really knows what makes dogs tick. (See what we did there?)

Collin got the celebrity treatment during our visit, even being interviewed by a local journalist, Jon Castagnino of Fox 5. (The segment airs at 10:00 p.m. today, Nov. 2.)

Collin was loving the in-room treats! He also exploited the convenient “Pet Relief Area” just outside the Augustus Tower at Caesars.

Collin, the dog wasn't use to the turf grass - we know he'll get use to it

“Please, re-leash me, let me go.” No, it’s not real grass, Collin, but you’ll get used to it.

Bonus Collin factoid: He’s the most lovable dog in the world, unless you’re riding a bike. We have no idea what he’s got against them, but since he’s a rescue dog, we’ll cut him some slack.

Pet-friendly Vegas rooms

Special door hangers trumpet the presence of four-legged VIPs.

PetStay is a dog-only program at the moment, and pet-friendly rooms are located on a specific floor within each of the participating hotels (which takes care of any sound or allergy concerns guests might have).

There’s a 50-pound weight limit for the pets checking-in, and there’s a small charge for bringing a pet which varies by property. For more information head over to our PetStay program policies.

Special Dog-Friendly Vegas Hotel Rooms

Special dog-friendly Vegas rooms

Special dog-friendly rooms ensure canine visitors to Vegas have a woof over their heads. (Oh, yeah, we did.)

It’s important to note that dogs are not allowed to gamble. (No, not even poker!) Some weird gaming regulation thing, probably.

Oh, and we hear Collin is available for autographs. And, you know, belly-rubbing.

  1. Whoa! This blog looks just like my old one! It’s on a
totally different topic but it has pretty much the same layout and design.
