Las Vegas loves it some Independence Day, including the full hotels (stop procrastinating), special menus, drink specials (like we’d leave that out) and fireworks.

This year, July 4 falls on a Wednesday, which makes scheduling a visit tricky. Caesars Palace, for example, will have an Independence Day fireworks display, but on Saturday, July 7. Fireworks will be shot from the hotel’s Roman Tower at 9:15 p.m. The best views will be from Las Vegas Boulevard, near the hotel’s famed fountains.

Knowing we Photoshopped this image should in no way undermine your enjoyment of it.

Other Independence Day fireworks displays in Sin City will vary by date and time. Lake Las Vegas (a bit of a haul from The Strip) will have its celebration June 30. Mandalay Bay and Station Casinos (locals casinos throughout the Las Vegas Valley) will have their displays on the actual July 4.

Of course, there will be myriad Independence Day-inspired parties around town, including those at Gallery Nightclub at Planet Hollywood, Chateau at Paris and Pure at Caesars. Yes, we’re only mentioning the ones at Caesars Entertainment hotel nightclubs. It’s our blog, and you’re not the boss of us.

We’ll see you on July 4. Or July 7. Whenever. Las Vegas just likes seeing you. Especially when you’ve done something new with your hair.
