Take a break: in between limited-time fall spa treatments, relax and unwind inside the Arctic Ice Room at Qua Baths & Spa.

The first day of fall is Sunday, Sept. 22 and though Las Vegas isn’t exactly a city of distinct seasons, the mood starts to shift, the temperatures drop back into double digits and a pre-holiday fervor takes hold. There’s always something fabulous happening, but in addition to the 10,465,9348 reasons to visit Vegas year round, this list might inspire an autumn romp in Sin City.

It’s still pool season
That’s right—you can still get a tan in October. Most hotel pools are actually open year-round, while boutique pool clubs, such as Venus at Caesars Palace, start to close for the season over the next five weeks. Ahh, desert living.

Shania’s back
After Elton John completes his fall run Oct. 12, country powerhouse Shania Twain blazes back into The Colosseum Oct. 15. And perhaps this set of dates means something special: “Shania: Still the One” celebrates its one-year anniversary Dec. 1.

The anticipation of Britney and The Linq
An exciting buzz is spreading like wildfire for two of the biggest milestones to hit the city in years. Both openings will make history on the Strip, but try both debuting just mere months apart, unrolling back-to-back from December into spring. Get excited.

Weather watch
Las Vegas can be kind of a ghost town in August, but a flurry of visitors flock back to town in October because of the absolutely divine weather. (Check out the inaugural Life is Beautiful music festival Oct. 27-28.) With temperatures hovering around 80 degrees, it’s perfect for rooftop partying at Pure Nightclub or taking in the views from Mon Ami Gabi’s patio for brunch.

Pumpkin everything
From fall-inspired spa treatments at Qua Baths & Spa to seasonal menu items and specialty candy at Sugar Factory, Vegas has you covered with this sweet seasonal favorite. Need we say more?
