Merry Christmas and a happy new room. Harrah’s Las Vegas gave out early gifts this year when it unveiled renovations to 600 standard rooms and 72 suites in the Valley Tower. The revitalized look is just part of a renovation gift that keeps on giving as the property also unveiled renovations to Toby Keith’s Bar & Grill and the Race and Sports Book, a new show – “Tenors of Rock” – and more.

The updated rooms feature a more modern look accented by gray and purple colors. The rooms include either one king or two queen beds, a table, two chairs and a desk. We love the special touches including a vanity with backlighting – perfect for getting ready for a night out in Sin City.

You’ll find the tech amenities you want in the rooms like a mounted 49-inch HD TV and an electronic device docking station.

The bathrooms offer a vanity, rain shower and the all-important hair dryer.

If you really want to stay in style, Harrah’s also renovated its Executive and Vice Presidential Suites. Designed by Marnell Architecture, each suite offers a separate bedroom, living room and dining area. The suite can also expand by purchasing a connecting room with two queen beds.

The 680-square-foot Executive Suite is designed with cream coloring and dark wood furnishings against bright pops of purple and blue accent décor. There’s a wet bar entertainment area with a sink and mini fridge.

Relax in the luxurious bathrooms, which feature ceramic plank tile, a vanity and spa tub.

The 1,360-square-foot Vice Presidential Suite is ideal if you have a group that you’re celebrating with. Each suite features a bedroom with one king bed, living room, dining room, wet bar, and entertainment area with stereo system. You can also add a connecting room with two queen beds. The bathroom offers a whirlpool tub.

As part of the improvements at Harrah’s, you can now check in and out more easily and skip the lines at the front desk. The hotel has added new self check-in and check-out kiosks in the main hotel lobby.

Besides the hotel rooms, Harrah’s has done other renovations around the property.

Toby Keith's I Love This Bar 10th Anniversary

The updated Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill

Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill, which recently celebrated its 10th anniversary, also got a makeover with new televisions, a dance floor, furnishings, sound system and private dining space.

The Harrah’s Race & Sports Book was revamped and now includes more than 40 new HD TVs, new bar stools and lounge chairs and built-in USB chargers.

The popular Oyster Bar has expanded to welcome even more guests with additional seating to feast on fresh steamers, shrimp, lobster, crab, clam chowder, calamari and more.

Beginning Jan. 11, the “Tenors of Rock” get ready to shake the showroom at Harrah’s Las Vegas with their powerful renditions of “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” “Living on a Prayer,” “Back in Black,” “Whole Lotta Love,” “Here I Go Again” and more.

Harrah’s doesn’t have any plans to slow down in 2017. The hotel will move on to renovating the rooms in its North Tower next year.
