Harrah’s Las Vegas has a lot to celebrate: The well-loved Vegas hotel has a whole new look. The resort underwent plenty of changes, including room renovations earlier this year and throughout the property. See for yourself:

THE New ROOMS

THE valley tower ROOMS

These photos may wow you now, but honestly, they don’t do give the rooms any justice. You just have to see them for yourself. Even the 300-square-foot Valley High Roller View room is worth the hype. Not only do you get a view of the tallest observation wheel in the world, the room comes with luxurious bedding, an HDTV, vanity area and a rain shower. Additionally, all of the white and cream colors give these rooms an airy, welcoming feel. You might find yourself rushing back to your room just to sprawl out and relax. We don’t blame you one bit.

The Penthouse

Harrha’s Penthouse living room.

Measuring more than 2,000 square feet, the penthouse is our personal favorite: Not only is there a bar area with a nearby foosball table, but the spacious living room (complete with a double-sided sectional) is enough to fit all of your friends.

Here’s something you don’t see every day: The dining nook has a round table that spins. Yes, the entire tabletop spins. If you’ve ever seen those Lazy Susan spinners at restaurants, this kicks it up a notch. Talk about a new, convenient way to pass the food… or wine and Champagne bottles.

Call (855) 855-9205 to book this suite. The Penthouse starts at $800 a night.

the Presidential suite

The Presidential Suite is a bit smaller than the Penthouse, but has a lot of the same features, such as the wood flooring and fashionable furniture and fixtures. The 1,700-square-foot suite comes with a walk-in rain shower, as well as the option of a second bedroom. While the penthouse is ideal for a big gathering, the suite is more fitting for a honeymoon escape or catching up with a couple of friends.

Call (855) 855-9205 to book this suite. The suite starts at $650 per night.

the VICE-PRESIDENTIAL suite

The 1,360-square-foot Vice Presidential suite offers plenty of room to celebrate while you are in Las Vegas. Designed by Marnell Architecture, the suite features cream coloring and dark wood furnishings against bright pops of purple and blue accent décor.

There’s plenty of room to relax or entertain between the bedroom, living and dining rooms. A wet bar and entertainment center make sure the party never stops unless you want to kick everyone out and relax in the large soaking tub.

Add a second room to the suite so you each have your own wing.

the EXECUTIVE suite

Harrah’s Executive Suite.

Frank Sinatra may have been the Chairman of the Board, but with these renovated suites at Harrah’s Las Vegas, you’ll be the executive of cool on your Vegas vacation. At 680 square feet and styling similar to the Vice-Presidential Suite, the Executive Suite offers the same bang at a slightly smaller buck. Add in amenities like a 55-inch HDTV and luxurious bathrooms with walk-in shower and whirlpool tub and you’ll wonder why you have never booked a suite before.

THE PIANO BAR, casino and more

The Piano Bar has expanded their space and now has a patio for guests to enjoy

The Piano Bar, courtesy of Caesars Entertainment.

Not only does this Vegas bar offer free lounge entertainment, The Piano Bar expanded its bar space. It now has patio seating, as of last spring. So even if you’re sitting outside, you won’t miss a beat. The windows open from inside the bar so you can see everything. The umbrellas keep you shaded, making it an even more pleasant experience. Cocktails? Check. Listening to Big Elvis crooning all your favorite hits? Double check!

While we’re on the subject of bars, don’t stop with the Piano Bar. We encourage you to bar hop throughout Harrah’s while you’re here. In addition to the ever-bustling Carnaval Court outdoors, the new lobby bar is coming soon. Here’s where you’ll find us sipping on a fancy cocktail or two. For now, you can enjoy the new-and-improved Starbucks, which offers a section to charge all of your devices. This way, you can sip on your double-shot cold brew and people-watch at the same time.

The hotel’s race and sports book also expanded with additional seating, complete with another huge flat-screen TV (among the several other flat-screen TVs in the area). There are also USB chargers here for your convenience. There will also be new themed slot machines coming in the near future, so stay tuned for that.

We’re not sure how long it’s been since you’ve been to Harrah’s, but from our last walk through, it doesn’t even feel the same. But in a good way. Everything — from the décor to even the overhead lighting — is purple. The casino is also in the process of switching out everything from bronze to nickel, which will complement the overall feel a lot better.

About The Author

I live for a crazy Vegas adventure, but not in ways you may think. Sure, our nightlife scene is all fun and dandy, but I love discovering all of the city's vegan options, relaxing in hotel rooms and seeing the best concerts - no matter how big or small the crowd may be. Since I've ditched the rain in Seattle two decades ago, I graduated from UNLV and covered Las Vegas entertainment articles for Vegas.com, the LA Times and our very own Total Vegas Blog. When I'm not writing, you'll find me spending time with my husband, toddler and two pets.
