The award-winning stage musical, “Jersey Boys,” will be moving to Paris Las Vegas in early 2012.

The show’s opening date and schedule have yet to be announced, but you can read more about the news here and here and here.

Jersey Boys

The first national tour of "Jersey Boys" began on December 10, 2006. We found that on the Interwebs. We are a Las Vegas blog, not a historian.

The popular “Jersey Boys” is a documentary-style musical, based on one of the most successful groups of the 1960s, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. The Vegas iteration of the show celebrated its third anniversary at The Palazzo in Vegas on Apr. 15, 2011. Read more in Las Vegas Magazine.

The show features classic hits like “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” “Dawn,” “My Eyes Adored You,” and others. “Jersey Boys” was a hit on Broadway, winning a Tony Award for “Best Musical” in 2006.

“Jersey Boys” producer Michael David stated, “‘Jersey Boys’ and Las Vegas have proved a terrific fit. Both visitors and locals have embraced the story and music of this remarkable production, and we look forward to welcoming even more guests by joining the Caesars Entertainment family at Paris Las Vegas.”

In 2010, GK Films acquired the rights to produce a feature film version of "Jersey Boys." Thanks for making us look smarter, Interwebs!

For the moment, current Paris Vegas headliner Barry Manilow continues to pack them in. Get tickets to see Barry Manilow, one of the most crowd-pleasing shows on the Strip in the humble opinion of this Las Vegas blog, on the official Paris Las Vegas site or through Ticketmaster.
