It’s Picture Time: The Top 5 Las Vegas Views

Situated beneath the Eiffel Tower replica, Chateau Rooftop & Gardens at Paris Las Vegas is a great place to drink, dance and marvel at the Bellagio fountains. The nighttime breeze during summer is the best.

Sin City is a bright and glittering city but while you’re here, you need to experience the top Las Vegas views. After rounding up our favorite spots, these places remind us why we love living here so much. We’d like to call this our fabulous five.

VooDoo Rooftop Nightclub

Not too shabby, right? VooDoo Rooftop Nightclub’s view at the Rio never disappoints.

Have your drink and a view. Located inside the Rio, VooDoo Rooftop Nightclub offers one of the best views of the city. Located off-Strip on Flamingo Road, this Las Vegas nightclub offers rooftop views 51 stories high. Come by during the summer months and feel the cool breeze and take in the sights. Not only will you get a view of the Strip, but also the surrounding neighborhoods in Las Vegas. You can even dance on this outdoor patio.

While you’re here: Take in the view and try the popular Witch Doctor, a gigantic rum cocktail topped with dry ice. The restaurant right below is great, too.

Inside the High Roller pod

You got me spinning round baby, right round…

Haven’t taken the High Roller for a spin yet? This reason alone is why you should come to Vegas! Not only will you ride the world’s largest observation wheel (550 feet tall, to be exact), the High Roller has the best views in the city. If you ride in the daytime, you’ll discover the beauty of Flamingo’s pool; ride at night and the neon lights of the Strip completely mesmerize you. Since you’ll be in here for 30 minutes, that gives you ample time to take plenty of pictures – and time to take that perfect selfie.

While you’re here: For the best picture-taking, veer over to the right side of the pod, corner window (pod interior, pictured below).

The High Roller pod can house up to 40 people in one ride.

Drai’s Beachclub Nightclub’s rooftop

A pool and a view: We like the sound of that! Just imagine how gorgeous Drai’s Beachclub Nightclub is in person.

Speaking of pools, the newest pool spot has spectacular views, right in the heart of the Strip. Whether you’re here doing the day, night or even plan on shooting off your own fireworks (a-hem, it starts at $9,000), the sights from Drai’s Beachclub Nightclub rooftop are pretty amazing. The pool doesn’t look to shabby, either.

While you’re here: Up for a late night swim? Head to Drai’s Tuesday night Yacht Club party which runs from 10 a.m. – 5 a.m.

Eiffel Tower Experience

Don’t forget your smart phone – you’ll want to snap away! This is just one of the many views you’ll see at The Eiffel Tower Experience’s observation deck.

Experience the allure of France right in the heart of the Strip at the Eiffel Tower Experience at Paris Las Vegas. Ride up the glass elevator and witness 360-degree views 460 feet above the ground. Go during the day and enjoy views of the surrounding mountains, or at night and catch the neon lights of the city. Our favorite time? Sunset. You get to catch both, and see the sky in pink and orange hues. Magnifique!

While you’re here: Take pictures! And stick around for the Bellagio fountain show across the street.

Chateau Rooftop Nightclub & Gardens

Paired with charming décor and breathtaking views of the Strip, Chateau Nightclub & Rooftop offers a unique touch to Vegas nightlife.

If you’re visiting the Eiffel Tower Experience anyway, continue your romantic, Parisian-inspired evening at Chateau Nightclub & Rooftop. The three-story nightclub has two outdoor levels, perfect for a night out under the stars. Plus, you can’t beat the garden setting, overhead twinkling lights and a panoramic view of the Strip.

While you’re here: Dance the night away to a mix of house, hip-hop and Top 40. Or, reserve a VIP table outdoors – the perfect way to relax and have conversation.

If you’re in Las Vegas for New Year’s Eve (or even Fourth of July), these marvelous vantage points are even more glam. But, come any other time of the year and you still have yourself a handful of Las Vegas views that rivals any city.

About The Author

I live for a crazy Vegas adventure, but not in ways you may think. Sure, our nightlife scene is all fun and dandy, but I love hitting up all the city's vegan spots, having staycations and catching shows by my favorite musical acts. Since I've ditched rainy Seattle 20+ years ago, I graduated from UNLV and covered Las Vegas hotel and entertainment articles for, the LA Times, Frommer's and our very own Total Vegas Blog. When I'm not writing, you'll find me hanging with my two girls, along with our shih-tzu and tiger cat.
