Meat Loaf may do anything for love, but so do his fans. Well-known Ireland-based writer Martin Breen recently flew to Vegas and had the time of his life – watching RockTellz & Cocktails Presents Meat Loaf being a top factor.

Beginning May 6 through June 21, catch RockTellz & Cocktails Presents Meatloaf on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $69. If you haven’t seen Meatloaf in his RockTellz & Cocktails show yet, you’re in for a treat:  the rock legend not only performs his monster hits, he also takes you through almost five decades of music, film and theater success. To get hyped for the show, read my Q&A with Meat Loaf and get to know him in a whole different light.

According to Breen’s Sunday Life article (a Northern Ireland publication with more than 1.3 million online visitors), he deemed the “spectacular theatrical rock show” the highlight of his trip. Like a lot of fans of the late ‘70s and early ‘80s hair bands, Breen noted this Las Vegas show was definitely on his to-do list. With its intimate theater (seating only 1,500), you’ll feel up close and personal with Meat Loaf. Add showgirls and impressive special effects and you got yourself a real treat.

Breen mentioned that Meat Loaf explains what that means in his epic 1993 single, “I Would Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That).” (If you don’t already know, aren’t you dying to find out?) The writer even said Meat Loaf went to a local wedding chapel after the show to walk “one of his biggest fans up the aisle as she and her husband renewed their wedding vows.” That’s awesome in my book.

If it’s always been your dream to meet him, the meet-and-great package comes with VIP seating, a signed Meat Loaf red scarf and a souvenir photo ($750 plus tax and fees). It’s once in a lifetime, right?

About The Author

I live for a crazy Vegas adventure, but not in ways you may think. Sure, our nightlife scene is all fun and dandy, but I love hitting up all the city's vegan spots, having staycations and catching shows by my favorite musical acts. Since I've ditched rainy Seattle 20+ years ago, I graduated from UNLV and covered Las Vegas hotel and entertainment articles for Vegas.com, the LA Times, Frommer's and our very own Total Vegas Blog. When I'm not writing, you'll find me hanging with my two girls, along with our shih-tzu and tiger cat.
