It’s almost time: The all-new, LINQ Hotel & Casino opens its doors in exactly ONE month and it’s leaving us with so much excitement. Read our five reasons why we’re so stoked about the Strip’s newest spot:

In addition to being environmentally-conscious with shampoo dispensers, pens made from recycled paper and eco-related trivia on place cards, you can take some darn cool selfies. The room will have funny mirror decals like mustaches and top hats, making your future Instagram posts picture-perfect. Oh, and complimentary in-room board game delivery isn’t too shabby, either. You’ll have a choice of old-school and new games, including Twister, Jenga, Connect 4, Simon and the wildly popular Cards Against Humanity, among others.

Keep the room party going with custom Spotify playlists, fit for every mood and genre.

Aruba, Jamaica, ooh I wanna take ya…

OK, so while we aren’t exactly located in the Caribbean, a stay in The LINQ’s cabana suite can easily be compared to paradise. You’ll have direct pool access and cocktail service on your own patio – two more reasons to lounge in your room all day. The Cabana Suites will be available Spring 2015.

3. 3535

Located right on the casino floor, The LINQ Hotel’s new lobby lounge / gaming bar 3535 will be massive. It’ll have a specialty cocktail menu, a separate lounge area and a DJ booth.

4. first-of-its-kind COFFEE SHOP

We can’t reveal what kind of coffee shop this is, but we can guarantee you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Let’s just say it won’t be your average and you’ll be finding new reasons to stay awake. Plus, the beans are sustainably-grown and ethically-farmed, bringing even more joy to your cup. The coffee shop is slated to open end of February 2015.

Need we say more? Not only will you be right in the center of the Strip, you’re just a few steps away from the world’s tallest observation wheel, standing at a towering 550 feet high. Located in The LINQ’s promenade, the High Roller is a 30-minute ride offering amazing views of the city. If you’re coming with all your friends, private pods (complete with bar service!) are available.

About The Author

I live for a crazy Vegas adventure, but not in ways you may think. Sure, our nightlife scene is all fun and dandy, but I love hitting up all the city's vegan spots, having staycations and catching shows by my favorite musical acts. Since I've ditched rainy Seattle 20+ years ago, I graduated from UNLV and covered Las Vegas hotel and entertainment articles for, the LA Times, Frommer's and our very own Total Vegas Blog. When I'm not writing, you'll find me hanging with my two girls, along with our shih-tzu and tiger cat.
