So I just landed in Vegas at 9 a.m. on a Monday.
I am escorted to my fabulous duplex suite in the Julius Tower at Caesars Palace. I put my bags down, my fat pants on and headed out the door.
From there it’s history because I just ate away my entire life away for the next 48 hours.
Don’t worry – as the food blogger of Damn Delicious, my stomach was prepared for this — prepared to provide you with the must-have guide of what to eat at Caesars Palace. You have the world’s best Las Vegas restaurants right in your hotel, so you never ever have to leave.
First up, we have Mesa Grill.
I will be honest here. You can’t go wrong with anything you order. But you can go wrong if you don’t order the Queso Fundido.
It’s basically a hot skillet of melted cheese.
Yes, it’s as good as it sounds. And I have the video to prove it.
Then you have your sushi at Nobu – one of the world’s most recognized Japanese restaurants.
And yes, this is a classic California roll here that I made with my brand manager, Nick.
We had a friendly competition here as to whose sushi was made better.
Obviously mine. Nick’s rice situation is out of control.
Also, the yellowtail sashimi with jalapeno is a Nobu classic that MUST be ordered under all circumstances.
And MR CHOW.
What’s ironic about MR CHOW is how there’s a MR CHOW location 5 miles from my home in Los Angeles yet this was my very first experience!
And boy, was it an experience.
I made noodles with the chefs here. And do you see how perfect they are?
Actually, I didn’t make these.
Believe me, I tried to.
I really did.
But it wasn’t happening.
Still MR CHOW’s Las Vegas restaurant is always a win in my book.
Dining with an epic UFO-type lighting hovering right above us, we demolished the green and white prawns, green water dumplings and Ma Mignon.
And we couldn’t leave without dessert.
Finally, room service.
For those times when you REALLY can’t be bothered to leave your room or your massive-sized suite.
Room service. With an all-American breakfast.
And you get the paper too with your morning coffee.
So to sum up, come to Vegas and eat as much as you possibly can.
That’s the only rule here.
Thank you Caesars for having us! You’ve been a pleasure.
