Giada De Laurentiis fans will soon be able to get a second helping of her signature Italian food in Vegas. She announced today that she’s opening her second restaurant, Pronto by Giada, at Caesars Palace in early 2018.

De Laurentiis’ first restaurant, GIADA at The Cromwell, has been highly successful with its tasty Italian fare and lighter California influences.

Pronto will serve similar cuisine but it will be a more casual place to stop in for a quick bite. Guests can choose from lounge seating or counter and bar seating. The  quick service restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.

For breakfast, think house-made pastries including Italian Cornetti, as well as breakfast sandwiches and made-to-order smoothies.

Lunch and dinner choices will include fresh-pressed paninis, salads, antipasti and formaggi and salumi platters. We’re especially looking forward to De Laurentiis’ twist on sandwiches with her lobster roll and grilled cheese.

De Laurentiis is a fan of desserts and the selection at Pronto won’t disappoint. You’ll find gelato and sorbetto in both familiar and Giada’s creative flavors. You won’t want to miss her famous lemon ricotta cookies as well as slices of cake.

Coffee fans are in for a treat with artisanal selections featuring traditional fresh brews and nitro options. There will also be a wine-on-tap program and a full -service bar with signature cocktails.

Pronto will be located in the Payard Patisserie & Bistro space, conveniently near the Caesars Palace convention center and Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis.

The warm and inviting décor, designed by Starr Design, is inspired by De Laurentiis’ style with notes pulled from her own home including natural elements such as wood and marble quartz, coupled with pops of color in the Italian-inspired tile.

De Laurentiis brings an extensive culinary background to her new restaurant. She cultivated her staple Italian cuisine in the kitchen of her grandfather’s restaurant and began her career at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris.  De Laurentiis is one of the Food Network’s most recognizable faces, starring in shows like “Everyday Italian,” “Giada At Home,” “Giada’s Weekend Getaways,” “Giada in Paradise: Capri, Santorini, Monaco and Thailand,” and the series, “Food Network Star.”  She is also a correspondent on NBC’s “Today” and is the author of eight cookbooks.
