It’s right there in the name. Happy hour – that magical, happy time when you can enjoy discounted food and drinks for a few hours at your favorite restaurant.  Wondering where to go for happy hour in Las Vegas/

Maybe you want to save a few bucks. Maybe you can’t get a reservation or maybe you just want a little bite to get you through to dinner. Happy hour works for all of those reasons.

Caesars Palace Happy Hour Guide: Gordon Ramsay Pub Happy Hour Food Menu in Las Vegas

Can’t get a last-minute table at celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay’s British pub inside Caesars Palace? No worries. You can head to the bar for happy hour Monday – Friday from 2 – 5 p.m. and try Ramsay’s famous food for a great price.

Happy hour selections include great bites like Hellfire Wings with a chili beer glaze and blue cheese for $9; pigs in a blanket with HP sauce and mustard for $8; mini corn dogs with house mustard for $11; and mini pub burgers with arugula, cheddar and smoked tomato aioli for $11.

This chic Beijing-style restaurant at Caesars Palace features “Social Hour” daily from 5 – 7 p.m. in the bar and patio lounge.

You can try small bites of MR CHOW’s signature dishes including the petite chicken satay for $5 and glazed prawns for $9. Other tasty options include shrimp rolls for $6 and minced beef pancakes for $8.

Alexxa’s Bar

Alexxa’s Bar at Paris Las Vegas is known for its tasty sangria options. Stop by for a glass or two and also grab a delicious bite. The bar features happy hour Monday- Friday from 3 – 6 p.m.

Happy hour offers $8 small plates including crispy chicken skewers with spicy honey and housemade pickles; rolled beef tacos with shredded short rib, smoked cheddar and fire roasted salsa; and whipped ricotta with rustic bread, honey, spicy oil and fresh herbs.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House

Steak houses are a great place for happy hour. If you don’t want a big steak dinner but still want to eat some delicious food, happy hour is the way to go. We love the $15 Sizzle, Swizzle and Swirl Happy Hour at Ruth’s Chris inside Harrah’s Las Vegas. The special runs Monday-Thursday from 5 – 6 p.m. in the bar.

Your choices for $15 include a prime burger with hand cut fries, a steak sandwich with hand cut fries, seared ahi tuna, spicy shrimp, spicy lobster and more.

If you’re a seafood lover, you won’t want to miss the happy hour at Oyster Bar at Harrah’s Las Vegas.

Stop in Monday – Thursday from 2 – 4 p.m. and fill up on Blue Point Oysters for $2.25 each. You can also try Maryland crab cakes for $15, ahi tuna poke for $14, fried calamari for $11 and more.

This restaurant and tequila bar at Bally’s Las Vegas is a great spot to get your Mexican food fix. Enjoy some great happy hour deals from 3 – 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. – 2 a.m. at the bar.

Try a slow-roasted pork or pulled chipotle chicken taco for $3. You can also dig into chips and salsa for $3 (add guacamole for $3) or jalapeno poppers stuffed with herbed cream cheese for $5.

Koi at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino serves tasty Japanese food with California influences. Their happy hour features a wide variety of options at different price points.

Enjoy $6 miso eggplant, tempura asparagus roll, baked crab roll and more. For $8, you can try spicy a salmon cut roll, chicken yakitori, edamame dumplings and more. And for $10, you can dine on choices including Kobe beef potstickers, Korean beef tacos and tuna tartare.

If you’re looking for a great pizza, Flour & Barley at the LINQ Promenade serves delicious brick oven pies. You can’t beat their happy hour Monday – Friday from 2 – 6 p.m. and Sunday – Thursday from 10 p.m. – close.

They offer a variety of $10 pizzas including margherita; the Gianna with fennel sausage mushrooms, pine nuts and mozzarella; the Bianca with garlic cream sauce, fontina cheese, roasted chicken, cotto ham and tomatoes; and the Big Apple with pepperoni and mozzarella.

Other happy hour options include $6 garlic cheese bread, $8 chicken wings and $8 loaded pizza fries with mozzarella, red sauce, pepperoni, sausage and jalapenos.

Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar

Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar at the LINQ Promenade offers happy hour Monday – Friday from 2 – 6 p.m. in their bar or on the rooftop patio (weather permitting.) If you’re outside, you’ll enjoy a great view of the High Roller observation wheel.

For happy hour you can indulge in two street tacos for $5, chicken wings or mini nachos for $5 and carne asada fries for $6.

If you’re looking for variety, Yard House at the LINQ Promenade has a huge happy hour menu with half off select appetizers and pizzas Monday – Friday from 3 – 6 p.m.

Half priced pizzas include pepperoni and mushroom, cheese, margherita, barbecued chicken and The Carnivore with pepperoni, sausage, seasoned beef and crispy bacon.

Other half priced appetizers on the happy hour menu include boneless wings, poke nachos, queso dip, chicken lettuce wraps, onion ring tower, fried mac ‘n’ cheese, classic sliders and more.

There’s always plenty of things to do on the Las Vegas Strip after enjoying happy hour if you want to go exploring.
