5 Places To Cool Off With Ice Cream In Vegas

It’s hot in Las Vegas in July. And when we say hot, we mean hotter than the chiseled cast of Chippendales.

Good thing July is National Ice Cream Month because the frozen treat makes the temperatures much more tolerable. And since it’s an official food holiday, that gives you license to indulge in ice cream guilt-free all month, right?

Grab yourself a scoop, a cone, a sundae or whatever other way you can think of to eat ice cream. Just do it fast before it melts.

Here’s where to eat ice cream in Las Vegas:

Sprinkles Cupcakes

Cool off at Sprinkles Cupcakes for a sweet treat - Ice cream on the Las Vegas Strip

Yes, Sprinkles is known for their tasty cupcakes, but we’ll let you in on a little secret. Their ice cream is to die for too.

The flavors vary by the week but you can expect things like butter pecan, coconut fudge almond, red velvet, rocky road, cookie dough, malted milk chocolate and salty caramel (Pro tip: Top this one with hot fudge.)

If you still really want that famous Sprinkles cupcake, no worries. You can try a Sprinkles sundae with a scoop of ice cream between a cupcake top and bottom or a Sprinkles ice cream sandwich with a scoop of ice cream between two cupcake tops.

Sprinkles, located at The LINQ Promenade, is also getting into the spirit of National Ice Cream Month by teaming up with Owens Craft Mixers to serve a Moscow Mule Float. It’s made with two scoops of vanilla bean ice cream topped with Owen’s Ginger + Lime carbonated craft mixer. Get it through July 31.

Amorino Gelato

If you like your ice cream with European flair, Amorino Gelato at The LINQ Promenade is for you. The Italian gelato brand is famous for their flower-shaped cone with unlimited flavor combinations. The colorful, rose-like treat is almost too pretty to eat. Almost.

You will want to eat flavors like dulce de leche, coffee, salted caramel, chocolate, strawberry, passion fruit, lime basil, chocolate chip, Madagascar vanilla and tiramisu. You can get a cone, a cup or even take some to go in an insulated box. Got a little one with you? The gelato comes in bambino sizes for kids.

Amorino also offers other goodies like gelato filled macarons, frappés, gelato-topped waffles and crêpes and sorbet drinks made from real fruit sorbet and mineral water.

HEXX Kitchen + Bar

HEXX Kitchen + Bar at Paris Las Vegas knows a thing or two about sweet treats. They make their own chocolate on site in a bean-to-bar chocolate factory.

If you eat in the restaurant you can choose from delectable desserts like classic milkshakes and sundaes. Try a Brown Cow with chocolate sauce, root beer and Venezuelan chocolate ice cream. We also love the warm cookie sundae with a chocolate chip blondie, Oreo cookie ice cream, whipped cream and strawberry sauce.

You can also grab scoops of ice cream and create-your-own ice cream sandwiches from the shop’s dessert counter. They’re made with exclusive HEXX chocolate ice cream handcrafted by High Road Ice Cream.

TREVI serves gelato that is made fresh daily in-house using natural ingredients

When in Rome, do as the Romans do and indulge in gelato. TREVI, located inside The Forums Shops at Caesars Palace, serves gelato that is made fresh daily in-house using natural ingredients.

Choose from an array of flavors including pistachio, Italian vanilla, chocolate mousse, strawberry, tiramisu, cappuccino or the gelati of the day. TREVI also makes special seasonal and holiday flavors.

Get a scoop or if you can’t decide on just one, sample a trio of flavors.

Ghirardelli Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop

Ghirardelli ice cream on the Las Vegas Strip

Sometimes you just want a hot fudge sundae. If you do, trust us, you want one from Ghirardelli at The LINQ Promenade. Sure, they serve delicious shakes, floats and ice cream cones, but the World Famous Hot Fudge Sundae is our pick. It’s topped with the famous chocolate maker’s homemade hot fudge, whipped cream, almonds and a cherry.

If that’s not your thing, you have plenty of other choices. Ice cream flavors include espresso chip, black cherry vanilla, mint chocolate chip and more.

Try the sea salt caramel Quake Shake – a Ghirardelli chocolate bar-infused milkshake with banana and topped with whipped cream, sea salt and caramel sauce.

We also like to cool off with the Nob Hill Chill, vanilla ice cream blended with ice, handmade hot fudge and topped with Ghirardelli mini dark chocolate chips.
