Martorano’s second Vegas restaurant is expected to open in early 2014.
The restaurant will offer Italian-American fare, of course, will seat about 200 people, and will boast a large bar area. The new spot is expected to be reminiscent of Martorano’s original restaurant in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The new restaurant at Paris will sit in the space currently occupied by Le Provencal, in the hotel’s Le Boulevard shopping and dining area.
Menu items will include tried-and-true dishes which have made Martorano’s at Rio so popular, such as the Eggplant Stack, South Philly Cheesesteak and pasta dishes such as Rigatoni Sunday Pork Gravy and Bucatini Carbonara. There will also be pizza, but not just any pizza. This particular pizza may just be the best pizza in Las Vegas. See more.
Oh, and the aforementioned homemade meatballs. Gourmet Magazine said Steve Martorano “may just make the best meatball in the world.”
Music will play a big part in the new restaurant’s atmosphere, with the tempo and volume increasing as the evening progresses.
Steve Martorano says, “Opening a second spot in Las Vegas lets even more hungry folks enjoy my food, my music and a good time. You’ll still have your spot in Rio to enjoy as well!”
This blog is among those hungry folks, and it’s great to see one of our favorite Italian restaurants in Vegas going forth and multiplying.
