Nevada Magazine’s 2011 “Best of Nevada” awards have been announced, and the results showcase some of Vegas’ best shows, attractions and restaurants as voted by the magazine’s readers.

There are far too many winners to list here, so we’ll just mention the ones whose marketing benefits us most (given this is the Las Vegas blog of Caesars Entertainment).

Chippendales, the shirt-ripping, glute-tastic (not a real word) male revue at Rio Las Vegas, snagged “Best Show” honors. Nevada Magazine’s readers clearly have their priorities in order. “We want pecs!”

“Chippendales” tied with “Impressions That Rock!” at the Hilton, a show we didn’t entirely know existed until these awards were announced.

See? This blog is an equal opportunity lowest common denominator appealer-to-er.

Also on the winners list, was the Carnival World Buffet, also at Rio Las Vegas, for “Best Buffet.” Interesting Carnival World Buffet buffet fact: In terms of sheer enormity, not unlike Sylvester Stallone’s boxing opponent in “Rocky IV”: It will break you. Fair warning.

Another notable winner on the “Best of Nevada” list: “Best State Park (Rural)” went to the Berlin-Ichthyosaur State Park in Gabbs, Nevada. First, we had no clue there was a Berlin-Ichthyosaur State Park. Second, we didn’t know there was a Gabbs, Nevada. Good for you, Gabbs!

See the full Best of Nevada list, and congrats to all the winners. Yes, including you and your park, Gabbs.
