Forget jingling bells and Starbucks red cups—we know the holiday season is really here when we hear the clinking of spurred boots walking through the casino. The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo is making another return visit to Las Vegas Dec. 3-12, and up and down the Strip, Vegas resorts are getting into the bull-riding spirit with food and drink specials, appearances by professional bull riders, and of course, live country music. We wrangled the best of the best for your dining, drinking and carousing pleasure:

Harrah’s Las Vegas will be the official host property for Bullfighters Only, and is getting into the rodeo spirit in a big way, even transforming its popular Piano Bar into the Jack Daniel’s Saloon. The hotel is offering special rates on rooms for the duration of the rodeo, and all Harrah’s casino bars will have special prices on Jack Daniel’s shots and Coors or Miller beer buckets.

Those specials will also be available at Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill at Harrah’s, where down-home Southern cooking—including catfish po’ boys, fried mac & cheese balls and BBQ bacon burgers—is topped with live country music nightly.

Across the street, Caesars Palace will have $30 buckets of beer (Coors, Coors Light, Miller Lite or MGD) available at all of its casino bars during the rodeo, with the option to add shots of Jack Daniel’s No. 7 or Tennessee Honey for just $4 each. Inside the Forum Shops at Caesars, TREVI Italian Restaurant is celebrating NFR with special steak selections, including an 8-ounce USDA prime rib with Bearnaise sauce and a 16-ounce bone-in rib eye with whiskey-peppercorn sauce.

Old Homestead Steakhouse at Caesars is also offering a special rodeo tasting menu. For $155 with Jack Daniel’s drink pairings ($135 without, but where’s the fun in that?), hungry cowboys can feast on a colossal shrimp cocktail (served with, of course, Jack Daniel’s-infused cocktail sauce), a 24-oz. bone-in dry-aged rib eye, served with truffle mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus, and finish off with Jack Daniel’s upside-down apple pie, served a la mode.

Jack Daniel’s specials can also be found at The LINQ, Rio, Paris, Bally’s, Planet Hollywood and Flamingo, the latter of which is offering chances to win rodeo tickets at the Garden Bar with purchases of Coors or Coors Light buckets.

Caesars Palace residents and country music legends Reba, Brooks & Dunn will appear on The Colosseum stage multiple dates during NFR. The superstars perform both their individual hits as well as share the stage for rare duets. Room and show packages for this not-to-be-missed residency are also available.

Rodeo fans might also want to check out “Country Superstars” at Bally’s Las Vegas. This fast-paced, concert-style show features live tributes to such country music superstars as Shania Twain, Garth Brooks and Wynonna. The cast and performances change each night, so no two shows are exactly alike!

Country music lovers can learn the stories behind some of their favorite songs from the very musicians who wrote them when “Nashville Unplugged” stops at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas at The LINQ Promenade on Dec. 5. Hit-making songwriters Aaron Benward, Travis Howard and Matt Warren will be joined by special guest Danny Myrick.

The newest show from the creators of hot shows like “X Burlesque” and “X Rocks” is “X Country” at Harrah’s Las Vegas. This “Kick’n Topless Revue” features the beautiful and seductive X Country Girls strutting their stuff and stripping down to the hottest traditional and contemporary country songs.
