Our favorite milkshakes in Las Vegas

Las Vegas restaurants have your sweet tooth covered when you’re craving the perfect shake. Sure cakes, pies and candy are great dessert options but sometimes you just want the perfect accompaniment to your burger and fries. If you’re a fan of drinking your dessert, we have just the treats for you.

British style

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay’s newest Las Vegas outpost, Gordon Ramsay’s Fish & Chips, may sound like it’s all about the fish and chips but his milkshakes nearly steal the show. Chef Ramsay’s signature Sticky Toffee Pudding dessert is featured in some capacity in all of his Las Vegas restaurants and his fish and chips venue is no exception. The Sticky Toffee Pudding milkshake is deliciously creamy with strong toffee notes highlighted by a generous drizzle of toffee syrup. The restaurant also offers a featured shake, unique to this location. The Biscoff Shake is full of flavor from the spiced shortbread biscuits blended with sweet ice cream and the crumbled biscuit bits on top. It’s too close of a call to pick a winner here so you’re just going to have to bring a friend and try them both.

Shakes with a kick

Le Burger Brasserie Milkshake and Fries

Pair a shake with a BLT and sweet potato fries for the ultimate sweet and salty combination.

At Le Burger Brasserie at Paris Las Vegas, burgers are the specialty but the milkshake game is strong, especially if you opt for one of the shakes with alcohol. The Cookies & Cream Shake features vanilla ice cream, crushed Oreo cookies and crème de cacao. You and the Cap’n can make it happen with the Cap’n Crunch Shake, which features vanilla ice cream blended with Cap’n Crunch cereal and Captain Morgan spiced rum. All milkshakes are available sans alcohol if you don’t want your sweets with a buzz.

Double the delight

Crème brulee pudding atop an Oreo shake? Yes please!

Crème brulee pudding atop an Oreo shake? Yes please!

Gordon Ramsay Burger at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino serves up desserts that are twice as nice as a milkshake alone. Each is topped with a generous serving of pudding. With five to choose from, you’re bound to find a flavor combination that speaks to you. The most popular is Shake #4, aka crème brulee pudding atop an Oreo shake with whipped cream and an Oreo on top. You haven’t had an Oreo the right way until you’ve dipped it in crème brulee pudding. The Oreos are blended into the ice cream as it is made so you can have as little or as much Oreo flavor as you want, though who wouldn’t want max Oreo? Am I right? In case you’re wondering, yes, the top of the pudding has been torched for a proper brulee crust. Enjoy them in separate layers or blend them together for a creamy sweetness your taste buds didn’t know was possible.

The perfect combo

Sprinkles desserts at The LINQ Promenade Las Vegas

You know you want one of those bad boys in your milkshake.

Sprinkles on The LINQ Promenade takes a deliciously unique approach to milkshakes. Known for their cupcakes, it only makes sense the Sprinkles Shake involves two scoops of ice cream blended with an entire cupcake, frosting and all. Cupcake flavors vary daily but regularly served flavors include chocolate marshmallow, cinnamon sugar, dark chocolate, red velvet, triple cinnamon, vanilla, vanilla milk chocolate and Black and White. Ice cream purists can skip the cupcake and opt for three scoops of ice cream instead, blending flavors as they see fit. One scoop of Cap’n Crunch, one of rocky road and one of cookie dough? Go for it! Flavors including those three are always on the menu plus Peanut Butter Cup, red velvet, salty caramel and vanilla bean. There’s also a rotating menu of other ice cream flavors including coconut fudge almond, dark chocolate and mint chip.

All American style

All American Bar & Grill at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino serves up extra thick milkshakes. They stick to the classics with flavor choices of chocolate, vanilla and strawberry with a generous dollop of whipped cream on top. Pair a thick and creamy milkshake with a thick and juicy wood-fired burger like the chili cheeseburger for an all American meal.
