Let’s just say it. The Las Vegas Strip, gleaming during the day or glowing at night, is one of the most awe-inspiring sights in the world.

So, what’s the best vantage point to take in all the Sin City splendor? Our vote just may have to go to the Eiffel Tower Restaurant inside Paris Las Vegas!

The mind reels. Click on the image to get an eyeful. Or, more accurately, "eyesful."

We stopped by recently for a prix fixe lunch to benefit Three Square, a Vegas food bank. The Eiffel Tower Restaurant was one of about 80 restaurants in town offering up a special menu to benefit this worthy cause.

The menu included the restaurant’s Maine Peekytoe Crab Salad, our favorite food name in Vegas, by the way, as well as a Veal Medallion main course and much-talked-about Crème Brûlée. (We know, because we’re the ones talking about it so much.)

Peekytoe. Peekytoe. Peekytoe. Peekytoe.

There may be other great views of the Strip (such as from the VooDoo Steak & Lounge atop Rio Vegas), but few can rival the Eiffel Tower Restaurant’s prime location overlooking the Bellagio fountains, and just about everything else on the Strip, come to think of it.

There’s so much to love about the Eiffel Tower Restaurant: The service, the ambiance, the food and, of course, the Vegas-tacular view. Yes, we said “Vegas-tacular.” Sometimes, real words just don’t do things justice.
