The culinary scene in Las Vegas has elevated the burger from a piece of meat in a bun to a canvas on which chefs exercise their creative muscles. From toppings like foie gras butter to brie to the classic lettuce, tomato and pickle combo, your perfect burger awaits in restaurants at Las Vegas hotels. Here are some of our favorite contenders for best burger in Vegas and just remember, calories consumed in Las Vegas, stay in Las Vegas.

Old Homestead

Old Homestead Las Vegas Burger & FriesWhy would you go to a steakhouse and order a burger? The simple answer is the folks at Old Homestead at Caesars Palace really know their meat. For starters, it’s not easy to find a dry-aged burger in Las Vegas. The Old Homestead Burger is 10 ounces of dry-aged meaty bliss seared in a cast iron pan to lock in the juices and served on a fluffy brioche bun toasted in foie gras butter. Far from your average patty, this decadent burger is topped with aged Tillamook cheddar cheese and caramelized onions. Pro tip: this burger and other Old Homestead favorites can be ordered in the nearby Montecristo Cigar Bar from 5- 10 p.m.

Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen & Bar

Guy Fieri's Burger Las Vegas

Being super cheesy isn’t a bad thing, especially if you’re a burger. The Bacon Mac-N-Cheese Burger at Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen & Bar at The LINQ Hotel & Casino features Fieri’s signature super melty cheese, aka SMC, plus six-cheese mac-n-cheese. For those of you keeping score at home, that brings it to a total of lucky seven in the cheese department. It’s also topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, crispy applewood smoked bacon and of course, Fieri’s favorite Donkey Sauce, piled high on a garlic-buttered brioche bun. As Fieri would say, this is definitely your ticket to Flavortown. Check out an interview with the Food Network star about his new restaurant El Burro Borracho at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.

Mesa Grill

Mesa Grill Best Burger in Las VegasShake things up with the Mesa Burger at Mesa Grill at Caesars Palace. Bobby Flay’s burger creation features two thick slices of cheddar cheese, grilled Vidalia onion and horseradish mustard along with southwestern fries. The rich flavor of the meat is highlighted, but not overpowered, by the horseradish kick.

Gordon Ramsay BurGeR

Gordon Ramsay Burger

Some like it hot and Gordon Ramsay has just the dish for fans of a spicy burger. His Hell’s Kitchen Burger at Gordon Ramsay Burger at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino is topped with asadero cheese, roasted jalapeños, avocado, oven roasted tomatoes and jalapeño pesto aioli. The tomatoes, avocado and creamy asadero balance out the double dose of jalapeño for a complex, yet even, flavor profile.

Burger Brasserie

Best Burger in Las Vegas

Burger Brasserie at Paris Las Vegas serves up international flavors with the Paris Burger. The fitting burger for this venue includes brie cheese, caramelized onions and smoked bacon. The creamy brie is a departure from more typical burger cheeses and contrasts nicely with the crispy smoked bacon as the flavors are highlighted by the sweetness of the onions.

Cheeseburger in Paradise Las Vegas

A burger tour of Las Vegas wouldn’t be complete without a stop at Flamingo’s Margaritaville for the Cheeseburger in Paradise. Go ahead and try not to sing Jimmy Buffett’s iconic song as you ponder this menu choice. If you like yours with “lettuce and tomato, Heinz 57 and French fried potatoes,” then this is your burger. The classic cheeseburger also comes with American cheese, pickles and paradise island sauce.

Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill

Toby Keith Burger Las Vegas

Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill at Harrah’s Las Vegas serves up a medley of flavors with the Blue and Blackened Burger, sure to make you sing its praises. The beef patty kicks things up a notch with flavorful Cajun seasoning. It’s topped with lettuce, tomato, crunchy fried onions and tangy blue cheese sauce to complement the Cajun spices. Not for the faint of stomach, this burger towers over the competition. Hold on to your cowboy hat!

A very interesting and entertaining piece on Vegas burgers.

  2. J man

It no longer exists but The Burger Joint in the flamingo had the best and most unique/creative burgers. Not to mention the apple pie & smore shakes.

    What about KGB…Kellys gourmet burgers….yummy

    Hi Lisa,

KGB actually closed a bit ago. It sure was delicious though! If you’re looking for tasty burgers at Harrah’s, I recommend Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill.

  5. Casey

I love burger bar. Lobster on a Richfield beef burger.

  6. Robert Schoot

    Baci burger

The “Gold Standard” burger at Holsteins in the Cosmo is worth being on this list.

  8. Matt

My wife and I ate at Holsteins at The Cosmopolitan last year and it was the best damn burgers we’d ever had. Looks like I’ll be checking out Guy Fieri’s when we return next week!

  9. Allison Duck

I really enjoyed the street corn appetizer at El Burro Borracho as well. Hope you enjoy your trip and find your next favorite burger!

What about Unami burger at SLS?

  11. HDK

Bradley Ogden’s used to have the best burger in town, sadly it was shuttered to make way for Ramsey’s place…

  12. Pam

Actually we just went to Gordon Ramsay’s Burgr. It was horrible. we were so disappointed as we have eaten there before and enjoyed it!

    Hi Roger,

There are tasty burgers there too but my current favorite burger is the Old Homestead Burger. It hits all the right notes for me. Dry-aged burgers are hard to come by in Las Vegas. The hint of foie gras butter on the bun is just enough but isn’t overwhelming and the flavorful cheese is prominent but still lets that dry-aged meat shine. I highly recommend it! Happy burger eating 🙂

  14. Allison Duck

That really was a great burger. Hopefully Bradley Ogden resurfaces in the Las Vegas dining scene again and brings his burger with him. It’s hard to find something exactly like that burger with the sharpness of the blue cheese, but Gordon Ramsay BurGR at Planet Hollywood has the Blue Burger with Maytag blue cheese and several other burgers with strong cheeses. If you try Gordon Ramsay’s Pub & Grill, which filled the space of Bradley Ogden’s restaurant at Caesars Palace, the Yorkshire Ale Batter Fish & Chips are delicious and authentic and the Sticky Toffee Pudding is a great dessert. Let us know if you find anything you think is comparable to the Bradley Ogden burger!

    Hi Pam,
I’m sorry to hear you had a disappointing experience. It sounds like you have had positive experiences in the past so I encourage you to give it another try on your next visit. In the past I have enjoyed the Truffle Burger and the Uber Cheese Burger. With four cheeses, it’s hard to resist.

  16. Randi

    No more KGB?! That sucks!

  17. Allison Duck

    Hi Randi,
I agree, it was very sad when KGB closed. Chef Kerry Simon needed time to focus on his personal medical challenges. He and his burgers (and other cuisine) are certainly missed in the Las Vegas culinary scene. I remember liking The Cheddar Cheeseburger at KBG with four slices of cheese. The Uber Cheese Burger at Gordon Ramsay BurGR at Planet Hollywood is the closest thing I’ve found to that one. It features four different types of cheese.
