What could be more exciting than tying the knot in Las Vegas? Whether its atop the Eiffel Tower or surrounded by nature in the ultimate garden ceremony, your dream Las Vegas wedding is only moments away.

You can virtually get married anywhere, but if you want to go big with your Vegas wedding or renew your vows, now’s the time to plan. And now that the Supreme Court has enabled nationwide recognition of same-sex marriages, Vegas welcomes you to celebrate your two-of-a-kind nuptials here as well.

5 Reasons To Get Married in Las Vegas

Here are our five reasons why you should get married in the most exciting city in the world. You can also check out these Las Vegas wedding FAQs so there are no surprises when putting together your special day.

Plus, the timing couldn’t be any better: If you choose to get married this fall, expect pleasant temperatures ranging in the 70s and 80s. You’ll still have the sun, but a refreshing calm breeze as well. How perfect is that?

1. The romance of France – center Strip

getting married in las vegas ParisOoh, la la! Getting married with a Parisian-style wedding in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip? You can’t get more romantic than that! If you plan on having a small, intimate wedding, the Deluxe Eiffel Tower package takes place on the top of Paris Las Vegas’ Eiffel Tower Observation Deck. This package accommodates 12 guests and offers astounding views of the Strip from 460 feet above the ground.

Chapel and poolside weddings are other fine options. Add a sweet, sweet melody to your ceremony with live music. Choices include a guitarist, pianist, violinist or cellist, harpist or string trio.

The hotel’s most popular wedding package is Cherish, which includes a three-night stay in a Red Room Luxury room. It offers a wine and cheese welcome amenity and dinner for two at Paris’ Le Village buffet. Honeymoon packages are also available.

While you’re here: Head to Eiffel Tower restaurant and request Table 56, offering the best view in the house.

2. Outdoor weddings at Caesars Palace

The hotel chapel is the largest on the Strip, complete with stunning chandeliers and stained glass windows. Create an even more beautiful setting with a string quartet, guitarist, harpist, flute player or vocalist.

Located outside of the Palace Tower, The Venus Garden (pictured above) seats up to 115 guests and features a koi pond, lush greenery and a gazebo. The Juno Garden is right outside the Octavius Tower and includes a secluded shrubbery and a wrought iron gazebo with lighting—a perfect touch for evening ceremonies.

While you’re here: Enjoy a couple’s massage at the gorgeous, 50,000-square-foot Qua Baths & Spa, or get ready at Color Salon with a custom Las Vegas hair and makeup bridal makeover.

3. Say “High Do” on the linq’s High Roller wheel

Make a statement and exchange vows on the 550-foot-tall High Roller, the tallest observation wheel in the world. By night, this remarkable Strip centerpiece features 2,000 LED lights with changing colors in pink, turquoise, purple, green and white—a great sight to see after your sunset or nighttime wedding. Our favorite perk? You can add a bar and bartender in your private wedding cabin. Since each cabin can house up to 40 guests, this is a great way to toast to your life as one.

Choose from four wedding packages, all of which have photo sessions and your choice of four musical selections. Time to bust out the K-Ci and JoJo tracks! All my life…

While you’re here: Celebrate and party the night away by seeing your favorite band at Brooklyn Bowl.

4. Gorgeous skies and butterflies at Flamingo

getting married in las vegas FlamingoSure, you can get married on a secluded beach, but if you’re looking for that island feel coupled with Las Vegas excitement, then Flamingo Las Vegas is the way to go. Plus, since the outdoor ceremonies are next to the Wildlife Habitat, that technically makes the live flamingos part of your guest list.

This hotel is popular for its gorgeous outdoor weddings. Go all out and say “I do” at the resort’s pool. For a gorgeous grand finale, Flamingo offers a live butterfly (or dove) release for $200. Or, you can even rent a bubble machine for $80.

While you’re here: Match your outdoor ceremony vibe with a day at the hotel’s GO Pool.

5. luxurious weddings in the comfort of your suite

You can have your ceremony location and honeymoon quarters in the same room!  Part of Caesars Entertainment’s Anthology Suites & Villas Collection, the Palazzo Suite is a favorite among the famous, including past Presidents and legendary musicians like Prince and Sir Elton John. The living room is large enough to hold a decent-sized wedding and if you plan on having company, there’s a great perk: every room balcony has its own whirlpool. One couple exchanged vows here last year and made the most of it by bringing their pups.

While you’re here: Wine and dine at the 50-story-high VooDoo Steakhouse.

Whether you’re getting married with a wedding in the sky, in your room or by the pool, hopefully these five reasons help give you some ideas for getting hitched in Vegas. In the words of Barney Stinson, you have one chance to make your Vegas wedding legen—wait for it—dary.

About The Author

I live for a crazy Vegas adventure, but not in ways you may think. Sure, our nightlife scene is all fun and dandy, but I love discovering all of the city's vegan options, relaxing in hotel rooms and seeing the best concerts - no matter how big or small the crowd may be. Since I've ditched the rain in Seattle two decades ago, I graduated from UNLV and covered Las Vegas entertainment articles for Vegas.com, the LA Times and our very own Total Vegas Blog. When I'm not writing, you'll find me spending time with my husband, toddler and two pets.

Reason six getting married by a “sorta of a celebrity” as he put it to us when we met, will be the most memorable experience that both of us will remember for the rest of our lives. You too could get married by the guy who played Big Bird.
