The most romantic holiday of the year is fast approaching, and we have one burning question: Are you ready? We’re not ones to turn down flowers, chocolates or even those “Be Mine” and “I’m Yours” Sweetheart candies. But if you plan on heading to Vegas this Valentine’s Day, you’re hitting the jackpot in the romance department. We go beyond roses and satisfying your sweet tooth cravings. Check out all the places in Vegas to propose, tie the knot and the best places to celebrate each other.
P.S.: These apply year-round too, proving you can make any day (or every day!) your Valentine’s Day in Vegas.
The perfect Vegas proposal
If you’re planning to propose in Vegas, you want to leave a lasting impression, right? (If you’re the one “waiting” for him / her to pop the question, maybe you can slyly leave this blog up as a subtle hint.) Take your sweetie to one of these places and let the swooning begin.
Eiffel Tower restaurant at paris las vegas
Ooh, la la. Nothing says romance like celebrating the spirit of Paris, right in the heart of the Strip. Every day will feel like Valentine’s Day if you wine and dine at Eiffel Tower Restaurant. And while it’s a long shot, you can try to book a table overlooking the fountains across the street. We’ll let you in on a secret: Table 56 is the best seat in the house. Or, you can pop the question at the Eiffel Tower Experience observation deck before or after dinner. Either way, it’ll be magnifique.
VOODOO ZIPLINE at rio all-suite hotel & casino
Sure, it may not be the typical wedding proposal but hey — you’re in Vegas. When are things in Vegas ever typical anyway? Be spontaneous. Plus, the adrenaline rush of zooming 400 feet in the air down the VooDoo Zipline will boost your confidence when popping the question. We’ll be curious if she’s screaming over the question or the actual ride — probably both!
Giada at the cromwell
Great views and great food? You’re already ahead of the game, baby. Dine at GIADA, the celebrity chef’s charming, upscale restaurant. Savor California-inspired Italian cuisine. Her signature spaghetti dish with shrimp, lemon and basil is an all-time favorite. We love how the antipasti bar’s aroma welcomes us the second we walk in the restaurant. We also can’t resist the beautiful presentation of the dessert cart. It’s the little things that make GIADA so special, so why wouldn’t this be a perfect Vegas proposal setting? Plan ahead to make the proposal as divine as the atmosphere.
VooDoo Steak and rooftop nightclub at rio all-suite HOTEL & casino
If you want to enjoy an evening of dinner, drinking and dancing, we’re big fans of VooDoo Steak and Rooftop Nightclub. The steakhouse is located several stories above the ground (level 50 for the restaurant and level 51 for the nightclub) so the views are phenomenal. Plus, if you want a quick escape from the Strip, the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino is just a quick drive away. We suggest popping the question on the gorgeous rooftop patio space (pictured above).
a luxurious vegas suite
We figured if you’re in Vegas for Valentine’s Day (or any romantic getaway), you’re probably considering upgrading your hotel stay. This isn’t a trip you’re taking with all your buddies. You’re barely in your room. But if it’s a trip with you and your honey, a room definitely holds more value! By proposing in your Vegas hotel room (preferably one with an awesome view, like this recently refreshed Caesars Palace Augustus Premium Room), it’ll be sweet and intimate. Get in touch with the hotel’s front desk or concierge service, and go all out with rose petals, candles or other romantic gestures. Now — if you can convince your pals to serenade her, that’ll be the icing on the cake.
Your dream Vegas wedding
Now that she (or you!) said yes, where are you going to get married? Decisions, decisions. Don’t worry. We make it easy for you with these Vegas wedding venue ideas. You can’t go wrong with any of these.
Flamingo las vegas
Flamingo Las Vegas is known for its picturesque wedding venues. There are six tropical settings: the five outdoor locations feature palm trees, gardens and cascading waterfalls. Even during our chilly months, you can still have a garden theme inside the indoor chapel. If you do decide to do an outdoor wedding, you can add fancy touches like a butterfly or dove release and a bubble machine.
What’s new: Seriously, who would turn down monthly cake tastings? This is something we’ll say “I Do” to over and over again. Located at the Flamingo Garden Chapel, it’s free and open to the public from 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. on the first Thursday of each month.
Back by popular demand, you can have a wedding (and cocktail reception) right by the resort’s Splash pool. This is perfect for spring, summer and early fall weddings.
The High Roller at The LInq Promenade
Go big and say “I Do” high in the sky — 550 feet high to be exact. Get married in a private glass-enclosed cabin for your High Roller wedding. It’s a perfect 30-minute ceremony for you and dozens of your closest friends on the world’s tallest observation wheel. We really hope we’re one of those friends — you’ll toast in style with your own bar cart and the best views of Las Vegas. Cheers to that!
What’s new: If you’re looking to party after your nuptials, you won’t have to go far. The attraction now offers wedding receptions in the renovated High Roller Wheelhouse and the new Pre-Roll Room. The customizable space can come with a host bar, plated meals or buffet. If you plan on getting married on 7/17/17 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., all lucky couples (plus 20 guests) will get a special cake and champagne reception.
Beautiful brides are in for a treat: A gift box filled with beauty products are now available. It includes a lip smoother, eyelash lengthening serum, teeth whitening kit and a Spa at The LINQ coupon. The High Roller also offers its Love is in the Air engagement package, which comes with your own VIP cabin, two flutes of Champagne, chocolate dipped strawberries and customized music for the perfect proposal.
Paris Las Vegas
Calling all you incurable romantics; you can experience the thrill of France, right here in Vegas. Paris Las Vegas offers two Parisian-inspired indoor chapels, both reminiscent of the City of Lights. You can also choose to wed on the Eiffel Tower observation deck, situated 460 feet above the Strip.
And because the chapel is just as romantic as you are, you’ll enjoy choosing one of the special all-inclusive Valentine’s Day packages. Amenities include a private bridal waiting area with champagne bottle service, “Liquid Courage” shots for up to four people, studio photography session for the couple, a two-night Red Room stay for the couple at Paris Las Vegas and much more.
For the ultimate wedding at Paris Las Vegas, the Be My Valentine package also includes a two-night stay for the couple in a newly renovated Charlemagne Suite with breathtaking views of the Eiffel Towerl a bottle of Dom Perignon Champagne and Waterford Crystal Champagne flutesl deluxe Champagne breakfast for two delivered to the suite; $150 Mandara Spa & Salon gift card; rose petals for the suite and more.
Paris Las Vegas’ Eiffel Tower Experience also offers its Romance package from Sunday, Feb. 12 through Tuesday, Feb. 14. It includes four express tickets (two excursions per person), two drinks from Gustav’s Bar, one 8×6 Kodak photo and one Love Lock for $125.
What’s new: Now you can have a two-hour reception inside Le Rendezvous Lounge complete with cake, refreshments, hors d’oeuvres and a champagne toast.
Caesars Palace’s chapels feature three indoor chapels and two enchanting outdoor gardens around the hotel’s five-acre pool oasis. The Classico Chapel is the largest chapel on the Strip and can accommodate up to 196 guests. For an outdoor escape, the Venus Garden is our pick. It has a Roman-style temple, a koi fish pond, a fountain and a unique stone-tiled aisle. The Juno Garden offers a tropical feel with its palm trees and lush foliage.
What’s new: The newly renovated Julius Tower’s hospitality suite offers a welcome reception for your wedding party. Bridal beauty services like eyelash extensions and airbrush makeup are also available.
Lights, wedding, action: If you get married at Planet Hollywood’s wedding chapel, you hold serious bragging rights. You can tell all your friends you tied the knot where Elvis and Priscilla did (back when the hotel was The Aladdin). Besides that, you’ll love the chapel’s glass art piece by Dale Chihuly — a snazzy touch to your special day.
We heart the chapel’s Red Carpet Experience package, which comes complete with your own paparazzi snapping pictures. The wedding staff even rolls out a red carpet for you and your soul mate. You’ll feel like VIP as a professional spokesperson interviews you and your guests on the way to the chapel. Your star-studded memory is yours to keep since this will all be recorded.
Having your Hollywood wedding on Valentine’s Day? The chapel offers special Valentine’s Day packages. We love Happy Together, which includes a stay in one of the hotel suites, chocolate covered strawberries and champagne.
If you’re looking for an over-the-top VIP wedding, enjoy the all-inclusive Diamond Valentine’s Day package featuring a two-night stay in a new 1750-square-foot, two-bedroom Panorama Suite with a bottle of Dom Perignon Champagne and rose petals; a Welcome to Las Vegas Sign photo shoot with limo transportation for the couple and eight guests; $3000 credit for an in-suite reception or at a Planet Hollywood restaurant; $200 Mandara Spa credit for the newlyweds; and more.
What’s new: The 7/10/17 “Lucky In Love” package includes post-ceremony photography for you and your party and even one-hour use of a six-passenger limo. Pop the champagne, y’all.
Unusual Vegas weddings
Earlier we included a wacky Vegas proposal idea down the VooDoo Zipline. Why not match that with a quirky wedding? We’re all about unusual Vegas ceremonies. You’ve all heard of drive-thru and Elvis-officiated weddings. Here’s a couple that might have not crossed your radar yet:
Kiss by Monster Mini Golf at Rio All-Suite hotel & Casino
If you love rock ‘n roll, KISS and miniature golf, why not get hitched here? After a round of golf, head to the Love It Loud wedding venue at KISS by Monster Mini Golf. Get your friends amped up for the big day by sending them wedding invitations printed out as concert tickets. And instead of the traditional rose petals, your ceremony will have guitar picks instead. Rock on and find out more about your special KISS-themed wedding. And by the looks of this picture of Skid Row’s Sebastian Bach and his special lady, we bet you’re already hyped.
Real Bodies at Bally’s
This ceremony takes goth to the next level. Carrying each other’s blood vial around your neck is so 2000. Real Bodies at Bally’s hosts wedding at its What Becomes Us gallery. Adorned in skulls and bones, the ossuary-styled chapel takes the cake for originality. In the “transition hallway,” you’ll reflect on the end of life and what it means to “shed this mortal coil” as you begin the most cherished chapter of your life. (Yes, that’s profound stuff right there.) The wedding comes with a ceremony DVD, photographer and can fit 20 of your closest friends. Find more about your Bodies wedding.
