Suite Beginnings: Las Vegas Wedding Takes Place In Celebrity Favorite Hotel Suite

Located inside the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, the opulent Palazzo suites are perfect for weddings or any fancy occasion. These lavish suites are also popular among celebrities.

For one particular couple, choosing the perfect venue for their Las Vegas wedding was a breeze. Thanks to Caesars Entertainment’s Anthology program, you can easily book a lavish suite in minutes. Once reserved exclusively for VIP casino guests, the suites in the Anthology collection are now available to everyone. If you’re planning a wedding, bachelor or bachelorette party or the celebration of the century, the Anthology suites are great to create your own story.

Troy Scott (from Texas) and Jennifer Jones (from California) have a fabulous story of their own: This couple met last year (on Christmas Day) at a craps table inside the Rio. Since they consider the Rio their lucky spot, it only made sense to tie the knot here. The Palazzo suites are the Rio’s most opulent, exclusive hotel rooms.

In fact, these suites are in their own separate tower. A favorite of legendary R&B and funk sensation Prince and past Presidents, the Palazzo suites offer a private hotel and valet entry and 24-hour butler service. Ranging from 3,900 to 13,950 square feet, fine furnishings inside the Palazzo suites include a hair salon room, fireplace and ample living space. Complimentary round-trip airport limo service and a private pool access with cabanas are other nice touches.

Here are some fun details about Troy and Jennifer’s Las Vegas wedding:

  • This was the Palazzo suite’s first wedding ceremony since 2009.
  • Troy and Jennifer’s ceremony took place on the suite’s balcony. Fun fact: Every suite features a spacious balcony, complete with a whirlpool tub.
  • The intimate wedding only had 15 guests, including the couple’s two pups!
  • Since the Palazzo suites are pet-friendly, their dogs Shelby Lynn and Maxamillian got to witness (and be included in) the wedding party.
  • The butlers (who are available around the clock) assisted with the reception; since Rio has its own florist team, getting the beautiful Tiffany blue flowers were easily available.

This newlywed couple gave positive feedback and loved the exceptional service from the butlers and Palazzo team. If you want to host an even bigger wedding, the two-bedroom Palazzo suite can house 200 guests; it also has easy access to the pool, exclusive to Palazzo suite guests.

About The Author

I live for a crazy Vegas adventure, but not in ways you may think. Sure, our nightlife scene is all fun and dandy, but I love hitting up all the city's vegan spots, having staycations and catching shows by my favorite musical acts. Since I've ditched rainy Seattle 20+ years ago, I graduated from UNLV and covered Las Vegas hotel and entertainment articles for, the LA Times, Frommer's and our very own Total Vegas Blog. When I'm not writing, you'll find me hanging with my two girls, along with our shih-tzu and tiger cat.
