Las Vegas used to be the land of deals like the 99-cent shrimp cocktail and cheapo late-night steak and eggs. The scene has changed but good deals on drinks can still be found in Sin City, if you know where to look. From the happiest of hours to all-you-care-to-drink deals, plan your itinerary to catch some good old-fashioned drink specials.

Caesars Palace

Patio at MR CHOW - Cheap drinks in vegas - Las Vegas Blog

MR CHOW at Caesars Palace offers Social Hour daily so if you don’t have a reason to celebrate, think a little harder. Finished binge watching another TV show from your hotel room? Finally decided on an outfit for Omnia tonight? Sounds like you deserve a celebratory cocktail! From 5 to 7 p.m. daily, visit the bar and the patio at MR CHOW where you can enjoy half-off all drinks including signature favorites like the 50/50 made with Martell XO Cognac, Thatchers Yumberry Liqueur, red shiso syrup and fresh yuzu juice while gazing out over the Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis. (This writer is totally guilty of snapping selfies with friends on this awesome patio.)

Other exclusive drinks you can enjoy for half off include the Inception made with lychee essence and topped with Moët & Chandon. If you get the munchies while sipping your cocktails, Social Hour also features food specials like shrimp rolls and glazed prawns.

Champs fans can also party at Fizz, aptly named for all the bubbles you can consume there. Enjoy bottomless champagne for $36 during two-hour blocks Monday and Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. or 8 to 10 p.m. plus Wednesday through Sunday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. or 7:30-9:30 p.m.

Sushi Roku in the Forum Shops offers Red Sun Happy Hour daily. It’s really happy hours, running 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 4 to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday. This means you can get great deals on well drinks, beers including Sapporo, Kirin, Kirin Light, Stella Artois, Blue Moon and Corona, a rotating sparkling wine plus Canyon Road Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. Hot sake is only $4 for Reiko sake from California. There are also happy hour deals on delicious food to accompany your drinks, so make a meal of it… or just drink your dinner. No judgement here.

If you’re going to get dessert, make it a dessert cocktail. Searsucker has a selection of spiked treats to hit the spot. Most are $11. That’s literally a sweet deal for a drink that also serves as dessert. Choose from the Bananas Foster Martini, Blackberry Peach Cobbler and Espresso Martini to end your meal or start your evening.

The LINQ Hotel & Casino and The LINQ Promenade

The tasty barbecue at Virgil’s Real BBQ makes every hour pretty happy but the noon to 8 p.m. hours Monday through Friday are extra happy. Enjoy drink specials like $5 beers including Virgil’s Ale by Magic Hat, Lonestar and Coors Light. Wine fans can score Castlerock Pinot Noir and Coppola Pinot Grigio for $5. Grab some of Virgil’s signature cocktails for $6 including the Frozen Sauza Tequila Margarita, Kicked Up Lemonade and Kicked Up Sweet Tea. If you’re still doing your best LMFAO impression and singing “Shots,” throw back $5 shots of Fireball, Fernet, Jagermeister, Sauza Tequila, Southern Comfort and Old Forrester.
