Craving a fun and casual night out in Las Vegas? You’ve come to the right place, friends. You can explore several Las Vegas bars all in one spot, right in the heart of the Strip. We’re going to take you on a journey, starting from LINQ Hotel & Casino (right along Las Vegas Strip) to the 550-foot-tall High Roller wheel. Plus, if you get super tipsy along the way, there’s plenty of outdoor seating to recharge. Best part of all? No strict dress code required. Get ready to relax and let loose, Vegas style.

3535

3535 Las Vegas Bar at The LINQ Hotel & Casino

No, you’re not drunk, the colors are changing in the vortex at 3535.

Vibe: Glitzy, glam, sophisticated.
What we love: The ultra-lounge feel, complete with upbeat music and oversized booth seating.
Must try drink: Thin Mint (which tastes just like a Girl Scout cookie).
Happy hour: Check hotel for details.

While 3535 isn’t technically in the outdoor promenade, we wanted to include this bright and snazzy bar since it’s a great way to start the night. Sit along the bar (which even has individual purse/jacket hooks under the counter) or snag a booth, which feels very VIP. There’s also a live DJ on select nights, so we’re sure you’ll be groovin’ after a couple of cocktails.

O’Sheas Casino

Las Vegas Bar Crawl stop at O'Sheas Casino

Party like it’s St. Patrick’s Day every day with Brian “Lucky” Thomas at O’Sheas Casino.

Vibe: Frat-house party – without the worry of cops breaking it up.
What we love: All the activities like table games, beer pong, live music and corn hole.
Must-try drink: The Irish margarita infused with whiskey.
Happy hour: Check bar for details.

O’Sheas is a longtime Las Vegas bar favorite for a reason. If you’ve ever been here for St. Paddy’s Day, you understand why. It’s wild. Plus, the drinks are reasonably priced and there are 50 different beers to choose from. Make sure to high-five Lucky the Leprechaun while you’re here. He’s a cool guy.

O’Sheas has entrances and exits inside The LINQ hotel and outside on The LINQ Promenade where the rest of our bar crawl takes place.

Chayo Tequila Bar

Vibe: All day, all night fiesta.
What we love: Taco Tuesdays.
Must-try drink: The Senorita – tequila topped off with Moscato. The tequila flights are a popular choice too.
Happy hour: 3 p.m. – 6 p.m., daily.

Ay, papi.  We bet that’s what you’ll be saying after a few shots of good ol’ tequila at Chayo Tequila Bar. Throw in a mechanical rooster (who needs a traditional bull?), two outdoor patios and a live DJ and we bet your Snapchat stories will the highlight of the evening.

Tilted Kilt

Vibe: A sports lover’s dream amidst a Celtic-themed environment. Blimey, beers and bagpipes!
What we love: With so many flat-screen TVs, there’s no way you can miss a play of your favorite sport’s team.
Must-try drink: The Paddy Bomb – orange-flavored vodka with Blue Curacao and Red Bull.
Happy hour: 3 p.m. – 6 p.m., daily and 10 p.m. – 2 a.m., nightly.

What’s not to love about Tilted Kilt? You can root for your team from multiple TVs in the bar, choose from all your favorite beers on tap and chat with the gorgeous Tilted Kilt Girls (We’re a big fan of their plaid schoolgirl uniforms). If you have time, you can even shoot some darts. P.S.: Don’t leave without a Tilted Kilt Girls calendar. What better way to remember your Vegas trip?

AmeriCAN Bar

Vibe: Relaxed and casual, so come as you are.
What we love:
You can’t beat a place that allows you to B.Y.O.G.: Bring Your Own Grub. We’re all for this, especially since this is typically frowned upon almost everywhere else.
Must-try drink: Order a Woo Hoo! shot – vodka mixed with Peach Schnapps and cranberry. (Extra credit if you raise your fist and say “Woo hoo!” like Homer Simpson.) If you’re looking for a pick-me-up drink, try the espresso martini.
Happy hour: 2 p.m. – 5 p.m., daily and midnight – 3 a.m., nightly.

In addition to ales, IPAs and lagers, AmeriCAN offers beers from all 50 states. Fifty. That’s a whole lot of brewski, so maybe you should just start with your home state. The patio is ideal for people-watching and you’re right by the promenade’s colorful fountain display.

Yard House

Vibe: The ultimate hangout for sports aficionados and classic rock fans alike.
What we love: The second-floor patio, which has a stellar up-close view of the High Roller.
Must-try drink: Tough to say, since the drink menu goes on for pages. We’re partial to our locally-made Vegas beers.
Happy hour: Monday – Friday,  3 p.m. – 6 p.m.

One thing’s for certain: We’ve never witnessed a dull moment at Yard House. This popular Southern California and Las Vegas mainstay has more than 160 beers on tap. Decisions, decisions. Here’s a fun fact: Many of Yard House’s beers are made from scratch daily. That’s 4,000-plus gallons housed in the keg room. In a hurry, but don’t want to miss out on the action this bar has to offer? There’s a walk-up bar adjacent to the entrance.

The High Roller

Vibe: The crazy energy and excitement of the Strip, all within your own High Roller cabin.
What we love: The views. End of story.
Must-try drink: With an open bar, the possibilities are endless.
Happy Hour: The 30-minute “Happy Half Hour” open bar cabin is priced $33 during the day and $52 at night (starting at 6 p.m.)

Up, up and away… complete with booze in hand. Save the best for last and finish your night off with a bang in this half hour ride aboard the world’s tallest wheel. You’ll climb into an open bar cabin, complete with a bartender mixing your perfect drink. After a drink or two, you’ll understand why we call it the happiest half hour.

Don’t forget

Here are some last-minute tips for your Vegas bar crawl of a lifetime:

  • Make a bonus stop at the It’s 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar inside the Margaritaville Casino in Flamingo Las Vegas. They have 5-cent Miller Lites from 5 – 6 p.m. daily. The Flamingo is easily accessible from The LINQ Promenade.
  • Enjoy a cupcake at Sprinkles to satisfy your sweet tooth.
  • Grab a pizza slice with a walk-up window at Flour & Barley.
  • Pose by street art, or watch live painting outside of Brooklyn Bowl.

This bar crawl is also the perfect way to pre-game before a concert or bowling at Brooklyn Bowl. Whatever you  do, avoid FOMO and don’t get stuck in one place. Keep it moving and have a blast while doing so. Cheers!

About The Author

I live for a crazy Vegas adventure, but not in ways you may think. Sure, our nightlife scene is all fun and dandy, but I love discovering all of the city's vegan options, relaxing in hotel rooms and seeing the best concerts - no matter how big or small the crowd may be. Since I've ditched the rain in Seattle two decades ago, I graduated from UNLV and covered Las Vegas entertainment articles for Vegas.com, the LA Times and our very own Total Vegas Blog. When I'm not writing, you'll find me spending time with my husband, toddler and two pets.
