The Roots at Brooklyn Bowl
American Grammy Award-winning hip hop/neo soul band The Roots are rocking out Brooklyn Bowl this New Year’s Eve. The duo consisting of “Black Thought” and “Questlove” are known for their jazzy, eclectic approach to hip hop which includes live instruments. They’ll not only play a 9 p.m. show on New Year’s Eve, (which is 21 and over only) but on January 2 & 3 as well (18 and up). Doors are at 8 p.m.
Cost: General admission tickets are $75 for the Dec. 31 show.

Jennifer Lopez at The Colosseum
Ageless wonder Jennifer Lopez is once again taking over the planet. She’s got a new album, “A.K.A.” and has been tearing up the stage on everything from the World Cup to the American Music Awards. She’ll storm The Colosseum at Caesars Palace for a one-night only, 10:30 p.m. show entitled “The Best Is Yet To Come,” featuring all her smash hits.
Cost: Get tickets starting from $175, which includes a hosted bar inside The Colosseum.

Britney: Piece of Me at Planet Hollywood
Britney Spears isn’t just the queen of pop anymore; she has dominated Las Vegas with her resident Planet Hollywood spectacular, “Britney: Piece of Me.” It celebrates its one year on December 27 and Spears plays both December 30 and 31 to keep up with fan demand from around the globe.
