It’s that time of year again. This hasn’t been the easiest year for Las Vegas, but we are strong because of you. And with that, there are plenty of things we are grateful to have in our lives. Here is a list of some of the things we are thankful for this year. Happy Thanksgiving and thanks, Las Vegas.

Pools Like Always

Here’s the thing. After all we’ve been through this year, we want to recognize the little things along with the big. Swimming is one of life’s simple pleasures. The ability to be outdoors and swim all year is one of the great joys our city offers us. The Venus European Pool Lounge at Caesars Palace, the POOL at The LINQ Hotel & Casino and Soleil Pool at Paris Las Vegas all stay open year-round and let us get our cannonball on.

Endless Crab Legs

We get it. Every list about things people are thankful in Las Vegas has the buffets on them. But think about that. If the buffets are on every list, then how awesome are the buffets? At Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace, diners can get fresh street tacos and a bevy of different flavors of house-made gelato. At Le Village Buffet at Paris Las Vegas, visitors can take a culinary voyage through the different regions of France. At Carnival World & Seafood Buffet at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, it’s all about seafood. And yes, they all have endless crab legs. That’s real recognizing real.

Endless Happy Hour

Things to be thankful for in Las Vegas are the best happy hours

If you’re going to eat 67 crab legs and swim outside in January, you might as well live in a world where Happy Hour basically exists all day. Technically, not in the morning, but if you are awake in the morning, are you even doing Vegas right anyway? At Caesars Palace, a slew of bars combined their powers so guests can experience twelve hours of Happy Hour. If that’s not a good way to live your best Vegas life, we don’t know what is.

Caesars Entertainment Cybe Sale 2017 - Things to be thankful for

Who doesn’t like a good deal? For those not wanting to stand in line at Best Buy for 17 hours waiting for an Xbox One or for those not looking to get elbowed in the eye by an insane grandmother with bloodlust at Walmart as she lifts a flat screen television over her head and races toward a checkout counter, put your money into the sweet Cyber Monday sale instead. Book a Vegas getaway and tell Grandma to chill, or better yet, to meet you in Vegas.

Hell’s Kitchen

Every time celebrity chef / yeller Gordon Ramsay opens a new restaurant, it is an event. This restaurant, inspired by the hit television show of the same name, is intriguing on many levels and might be the biggest Ramsay event yet. We can’t wait to see – and taste – what Gordon has in store for this one.

Instagram Everywhere

Things to be thankful for are Instagram photo ops in Las Vegas

You can look fabulous everywhere in Las Vegas. You can take selfies in front of hotels, with street performers and with an array of cool statues. Also, even if you look like you just finished a 12-hour happy hour and you don’t want to be in your own pictures, you can get those social media likes by taking excellent pictures of your awesome food. Nobody will ever know you’re rocking the messy vacation hair.

Fun for All ages

JLo might have been the soundtrack to your adolescence but she’s back in the spotlight and she’s “living it to the limit” at Planet Hollywood, even if Ja Rule isn’t there to reinforce the fact that she’s real. That same venue, The Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, is where you can say “Hello” to  Lionel Richie as he’s “Dancing on the Ceiling” “All Night Long” and where you can be certain, that yes, “Backstreet’s back. Alright.

Meanwhile, The Colosseum at Caesars Palace keeps things new old school with Céline Dion and Mariah Carey and found much success going older old school with sold-out runs from The Who and Van Morrison. Then there’s the spectacular Elton John, who fits into both the diva and double old school category.

Go Mobile

We’ve established you don’t like to wait in lines and really, who does? When you arrive at your hotel, skip the line and get to your room quicker by using self check-in kiosks in the hotel lobby. Guests at The LINQ Hotel & Casino can take advantage of mobile ordering from anywhere on property. Want a burger served by the pool (it’s open all year, ahem)? Done. Need a sandwich at your slot machine? It’s just a few taps away. Mobile ordering is also available at The Cromwell Sports Book and The Caesars Palace Race & Sports Book, so you don’t have to miss a minute of your game.

Vegas Strong Caesars Entertainment

While we like to joke around here, the truth is, we couldn’t be prouder of our community. The way Las Vegans responded when tragedy struck the city on Oct. 1 shows the resolve, spirit and good will of our citizens and visitors. We banded together as a city and as a people and we will forever be thankful to all the heroes this year.
