We’ve watched as The LINQ Las Vegas has emerged like a butterfly from its cocoon (not to be confused with the other “butterfly” across the street at Caesars Palace. Hi Mariah!), creating something more than just another Las Vegas hotel and casino. With its center-Strip location, open-air entertainment district and iconic High Roller observation wheel, The LINQ lives up to its name as an exciting, all-in-one destination that truly serves as the link to all the fun things to do in Las Vegas.

In celebration of the final touches being put on the entirely transformed Las Vegas resort, we figured we should check in on all the latest and greatest entertainment, shopping, dining, nightlife and attractions The LINQ Hotel & Casino has to offer, with some sneak-peeks into even more excitement to come.

The LINQ Pool

The LINQ Pool is a hot place to chill out.

The LINQ Las Vegas isn’t just another Las Vegas hotel, and likewise, its pool complex isn’t just another watering hole. The 21-and-over outdoor oasis provides plenty of opportunities to swim, play and stay cool. There are two pools: the main one features first-available open seating and four, rentable lily pad daybeds, while the second pool is accessed by an elevated deck with tables available for rent. A 30-seat center bar with four flat-screen TVs offers frosty cocktails to keep you refreshed while food runners provide snacks from Nook Express.

One of the best ways to enjoy the pool at The LINQ Las Vegas is by renting one of 10 poolside cabanas. These private getaways are staffed by a team of hosts and servers, and include everything you need to maximize your Las Vegas pool experience: numerous seating options, a USB port for your own music player, flat-screen TV, refrigerator, and much more, including optional bottle service. There are also 35 daybeds available for rent at the pool, each with their own electronic safes, storage compartments and built-in umbrella holders. You can reserve your spot by calling (702) 835-5713 or visiting the LINQ Pool webpage for more information.

The LINQ Pool has more to offer than just glistening pools, tasty beverages and VIP service, however. There’s also a chill spot called the Recovery Zone, an indoor area featuring TVs, pool tables and other games. And every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., The LINQ Pool hosts “Champagne Sundays,” featuring top DJs and two-for-one pricing on 750-ml Moet and Veuve Clicquot Champagne bottles. Other Las Vegas events coming up at the pool include fashion shows, DJ competitions and themed parties.

Cabana Rooms

Each LINQ Cabana Room comes with its own private outdoor lounge.

If you’re all about the pool life, this is going to warm your sun-worshipping heart: The LINQ has created 25 Cabana Rooms that offer direct access to the new, sexy LINQ Pool. That’s right, each room has its own private cabana that opens directly onto the pool deck, outfitted with sectional seating, umbrellas and a flat-screen TV—as well as cabana staff service throughout the day. The interiors of the rooms are just as delightful, offering vibrant, modern décor, Gilchrist & Soames bath products, a 55-inch TV, an in-room refrigerator, and your choice of either one king or two double beds.

The LINQ Penthouse bedroom is just fab.

If you prefer your swank accommodations a little more removed from the action, then The LINQ Penthouse Suite might just be for you. Spanning 1,067 square feet, this one-bedroom suite is more like a deluxe apartment in the sky, combining stylish, modern surroundings and playful artwork with such luxe amenities as a spacious rain shower, kitchenette and wet bar, iPod stereo with Bose speakers, dual bathroom vanities, and in-room board games like Jenga Tetris and glow-in-the-dark chess.

The Spa at the LINQ

The Spa at the LINQ takes lounging around to a new level.

Whether you’re looking to spend a day chillaxing in nothing but a robe, want to burn off last night’s buffet indulgence, or need to get a quick blow-out before hitting the club, The Spa at The LINQ has you covered. This brand-new spa offers a variety of body treatments, including mud wraps, body polishes and massages, with the aromatherapy scent of your choice added at no extra charge. You can even plug in your own music player to the treatment room’s speakers, because we’ve had enough Yanni in our lives, right?

This Las Vegas spa also offers some unique perks, such as a Himalayan salt therapy cave (which helps to naturally relieve respiratory problems) and his-and-hers lounge rooms decked out with Harmonized Water Bars and zero-gravity lounge chairs. A 1,620-square-foot fitness center is available free to hotel guests, as are in-room fitness carts replete with such accessories as yoga mats, stability balls and fitness discs. And a full-service salon offers nail services, blow-outs, color treatments, makeup applications and beard trims, so that you not only feel your best, but look it, too.

This one’s for you, Las Vegas locals: The weekly LINQ BLOQ Party is back, and better than ever! High Roller Hangover Relief Cabins

Half an hour inside a cabin in the sky with cocktails? Sign us up!

OK, so maybe the first thing you’re thinking of when waking up after a wild night at a Las Vegas nightclub isn’t climbing into a bubble that’ll take you 550 feet into the air above the Las Vegas Strip. But trust us, there’s a good reason to visit the world’s tallest observation wheel on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., because the cure for your post-party blahs awaits inside the High Roller’s Hangover Relief Cabins. These specially designated cabins are outfitted with RESQWATER, mimosas, Bloody Marys and other tasty beverages designed to help relieve your hangover—or at least get your daytime partying started off right.

Club Tattoo

Joining its sister location inside Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile Shops, this upscale body art shop—located off The LINQ Hotel’s main casino floor near the hotel elevators—isn’t your average tattoo parlor. Founded in 1995 by Sean and Thora Dowdell and strengthened by a partnership with Linkin Park and Stone Temple Pilots singer Chester Bennington, Club Tattoo now has six U.S. locations, each offering top-notch tattoo artists and body piercers, as well as an exclusive selection of body jewelry and edgy, designer men’s and women’s fashion. This Las Vegas tattoo shop also offers interactive touchscreens to help customers create their own tattoo design.

Mat Franco – Magic Reinvented Nightly

Remember the wide-eyed stares of disbelief “America’s Got Talent” judges gave Mat Franco, the first-ever magician to win top prize on the long-running NBC talent show, as he dazzled them with sleight-of-hand tricks built around charming stories? Well, get your eyedrops ready, because the 27-year-old magician is coming to The LINQ Hotel & Casino beginning Aug. 5 with an all-new, full-scale Las Vegas show built around never-before-seen material.

Although “Magic Reinvented Nightly” (well, almost nightly—the show will be dark Wednesdays) puts Franco on a bigger stage, performing mind-blowing feats close-up to the audience will remain a fixture of Franco’s Las Vegas show. Always funny, always engaging and always offering something new, we can’t wait to witness the magical storytelling of Mat Franco in-person at The LINQ.

I will be traveling for business and pleasure…my question is-How far is The Linq to MGM Grand Garden Arena? The convention is being held there and I would like to know if the free monorail is anywhere close for me to ride.

  4. Hi Donna – The Las Vegas Monorail has a station at both The LINQ and MGM Grand, so if you’re staying at The LINQ, it would be very easy to hop on the monorail to get to your convention. The distance between the two is about 2.5 miles. Check out our interactive Las Vegas Strip map for a handy visual reference: (MGM Grand is located just “below” the Hard Rock Cafe on the map).
